Trico directions are not the most informative. Once I got the blades on I was impressed . They snap on with an audible click. In rain they wiped with no chatter or streaking. They are a vast improvement.

I bought these for a 2018 Mazda 3. They install easily and function comparably to other wipers I've purchased (I always purchase less expensive wiper from Trico). They do not squeak and do not streak. However, I don't like how tall the connector piece is and these stick up more than other wipers I have had. While they work ok, I prefer wipers with a lower profile. For that reason, I won't be purchasing these again.

Trico and Anco are two of the most popular wiper brands. Did you know that Trico bought Anco in 2019? I presume the options across the brands are very similar, so I look for good deals. This was a good deal on a beam wiper. I've only recently started purchasing beam style wipers, and now prefer them much more than conventional style blades. They conform to the windshield curve better and generally have less chatter. Longevity is hard to quantify. Some will put up with a streaky or dirty windshield for a long time while others will change the moment a streak is seen, even if it's caused by something trapped under the blade. That said, I get 9-12 months out of them in FL.

I tend to be a DIYer AND like to save money and reduce waste, so naturally when our wiper blades broke I went down a rabbit hole researching on YouTube how to replace just the rubber on the blades, thinking it would be relatively simple and a lot cheaper, and less waste (throwing out a perfectly good arm assembly). While the process didn't look too difficult but requires a little finesse, it turns out the SHIPPING on a few dollars of rubber ended up being outrageous ($30), and it would be easier and faster to just order new blades from Amazon. So that's what I did, and I am happy with the results! Sometimes one just has to push the easy button!

The wiper blades are: * Easy to install * Wipe the screen cleanly * Don't sputter and clatter * Don't make any noise when in use * The wiper edge is protected with a plastic guard (that must be removed before using). The included instruction manual offers many varieties of wiper blade model installations, but it's printed in a very small font that's hard to read. Suggest adding a QR code with reference to on-line installation instructions. For longer life: * raise your wiper blades when ice or snow are forecasted (and you are not driving, of course). This keeps the edges from freezing to the windshield * Keep the windshield clean and remove debris with a good-quality window cleaner -- not the wipers and washing fluid * Clean the wiper blades with a towel dampened with water and dishwashing liquid several times a year. Pleased with the purchase and recommend these wiper blades.

Keep YouTube open, is my advice. These wipers come with three sets of adapters to fit a wide range of vehicles. Which is fine, except that the wordless instruction sheet is filled with inscrutable hieroglyphics on a small sheet of paper. To use these wipers on my vehicle, I had to remove the adapter pre-installed on the wiper by pushing tabs and pulling tabs, etc., and then install an alternate device. The pictorial instructions were, to be charitable, concise. If non-explanatory. Fortunately, YouTube to the rescue! A short visual tutorial on how to install the needed plastic adapter made it seem simple. And, with a false start or two, it was simple enough. Kudos to those who took the time and trouble to post their experiences on the interwebs. Once installed, the wipers worked fine through light rain, heavy rain and a couple of downpours. No complaints as regards wiping. Only downside is that when the rain is very light and the wipers set on the lowest notch of intermittent, they do squeak. Probably because the rubber is still new and soft and undamaged by UV. That won't last. Buy them again? The price is right and once you understand the mounting protocols, sure. Rain-X may be better or not, but they sure cost more. These worked. All I ask for.
