I have this desk for my 2 monitor setup with the PC also on the desk. It's perfect for what I need it for, and I probably could've gotten a smaller one. This thing is pretty massive, not only in length but also width. I took a risk because some of the reviews on here tell horror stories, but if you decide to get this I'd recommend going with the Rustic + Black option. The reviews on this one seem far better than some of the other styles that have 4 pieces of wood for the top instead of the 3 in this one. I never build things like this and this was easy for a beginner, you have to use a bit of deductive reasoning for which screws are which but it's pretty simple because there's about 4 different sizes and you can just order them smallest to largest to figure out which is which. The only con I would say is it's not quite as sturdy as I thought it would be. If you bump it hard it will wobble a little. For everyday use though, it's solid ... show more

If you are interested in the 70inch desk, save yourself the trouble and get someone else to build it for you. I was really excited to get this desk. It came relatively quickly but was an absolute nightmare to put together. Upon opening the package I immediately noticed that the corners of the desk were damaged. It came with a bag full of screws ranging in sizes. None of them were labeled so I spent most of the time guessing which was supposed to go where. In addition to that, the instructions referred to the wrong screws in many steps, the screws would either be too small or too big to fit into the hole so again, a lot more guessing. Since I got the 70 inch desk, the tabletop came as 4 seperate pieces that you connect to the base and the legs. Putting together the base was fine but connecting it to the tabletop almost had me in tears. The holes didn't match up at all and the amount of screws we were given didn't match up with how many the instructions said were required. Not only that, the cracked edges of the desk went right in the center so the only way to cover the chipped wood is paint or a strategically placed mouse pad. I started putting together this desk with my sister at 7pm and ended up finishing it at midnight. That includes a 30 minute consultation with my brother. Despite all my trials and tribulations, I did put the desk together and it is very sturdy, doesn't wobble or feel like it's gonna tip over. I have two 37 inch monitors and a shelf that can't weigh more than 25 Ibs sitting on top of it and it holds pretty well. The white color is super appealing. ... show more

so! this desk feels as if the hulk made it. i'm not gonna lie, i am a gamer and i have a bit of anger ourburst sometimes, but this desk! its strong, durable, very nice, and i 100% recommend. my last desk was made of wood/hard cardboard, and when i hit it, it split down the middle. this desk though, absolutely not. its strong, and it has not even budged. also, it does not shake or wobble and it is very, very, very durable. i 100% recommend. ... show more

I was a little wary from some of the reviews on this desk. First, I was worried about the shipping. It arrived with no issues. It was packed well with styrofoam surrounding all sides of the desk (see pic). There were some small holes in the outside of the shipping box but did not penetrate the styrofoam. Second, I was worried about the writing surface of the desk. While there is a very slight texture to the desktop (see pics), it had zero effect on me writing on it. I took a single sheet of paper and a pen and wrote what I wanted cleanly with no problems. I could barely feel the texture when writing, but caused me no problems. I guess if you are a calligrapher and write with fine tip pens, maybe you have an issue??? I'm really not sure what the issue is with some folks writing on this desk. Third, I was worried about the sturdiness of the desk. Relatively speaking, it is a cheap desk and didn't want to deal with a wobbly desk. I saw there were a few other brands that had a very similar desk, but I went with Tribesigns because the desk weighed about 30% more and supposedly supports 900 lbs on it (competitors were around 300 lbs). It looked like the the additional weight was in the thickness of the table top and the additional support in the legs. I decided if a desk is going to be sturdy, Tribesigns was the best bet. After the desk was put together, no issues at all with wobbling. It does only weight circa 60 lbs so you can bump it and move it more easily than say the desks that weigh hundreds of pounds (that you pay a lot more money for), but that is to be expected. When I write or type of the desk, not a single issue...nice and sturdy. Lastly, I was worried about the quality of the desk. I wanted to attach a metal compact pencil drawer to the particle board table top (see pic). I wasn't sure how the desk would hold to drilling, screwing, and the weight of the drawer but ran into absolutely zero problems. It was a nice addition to the desk. As far as the assembling of the desk, I ran into none of the problems others talked about. The only thing I noticed is the legs will very slightly bow if you tighten the screws really tight (legs are hallow). I didn't tighten mine overly tight...just nice and snug...didn't effect the sturdiness. If I had to complain about anything with this desk, it would be the support bar that hangs under the desk. It takes up about 2 more inches of space and when you add it to the 1 inch table top, you lose 3 inches of the height. I'm 6'3 and losing any height in a desk is kind of a pain, but I decided to work around it...what is losing an inch or two off a 29+ inch high desk top...it wasn't worth me not buying the desk. The other complaint I had is I couldn't find the 63 inch desk anywhere and had to go with the 55 inch. Again, not a deal breaker, but did like that option. Lastly, for my own selfish reasons, I wish there was a support bar that ran at the back bottom of the desk. I could use it as a pedestal but more importantly to hide wires that run on the floor (i.e. power cord from wall outlet to computer, etc.). The desk does not come equipped with any cable management features, so I will have to get creative in how to hide/blend wires with the desk. Overall, I recommend this desk to anyone that is looking for a no frills budget desk. It is not the most exciting (from a features standpoint) but the quality is really good (for what you pay) and looks really nice in the room. ... show more

The desk is sturdy and beautiful. The dimensions are accurate. The hardware isn’t labeled well so grab a tape measure and make sure you’re using the correct length screws at each step. But overall, it took me an hour and a half to assemble by myself. The screwdriver that came with the desk is also nice. I’m keeping it. The edge protectors are also a nice little bonus. ... show more

Purchased the 63” desk. It’s exactly as pictured and exactly what I was looking for. Recommend some sort of protection for the top because it looks like it would scratch easily and absorb moisture. Very sturdy, yet light weight. Went together very easily and quickly. Would recommend…however get a vinyl cover or glass top and definitely use a coaster. ... show more
