So I looked these reviews up and down to try and find pictures or measurements or anything else to help me determine if it would be possible to clamp both my monitor arm stand and my microphone arm onto the edges of this desk. Because as you can see, the steel frame around the desk looks like it could make things awkward. Unfortunately, it does. I did my best to provide the exact measurements of the crucial pieces that people who are interested in clamping things on the side of this desk. See the image for the exact measurements. Quickly I will say, the lip of the desk that goes over the steel frame is only 5/8 inch. So with a 1 inch thick desk board, and only 5/8 inch of lip to clamp something onto, it's not going to be the sturdiest of whatever you mount unless it's something small and/or lightweight. However from the top of the desk board, to the bottom of the steel frame, is a more sturdy depth of 3 inches. That unfortunately can be too large for clamps of different equipment to be able to get its mouth onto. In short, you will need to be sure that what you want to clamp on your desk either has a clamp that has at least a 3 inch mouth on it, or it not to be too heavy to clamp onto the 1 inch desk board and 5/8 inch desk lip. Personally, I was able to get the "ECHOGEAR Triple Monitor Desk Mount Stand (Amazon ID: B079NNC2YQ)" to fully get the clamp on the 3 inches (from the top of the desk to the bottom of the steel frame) though it was a tight squeeze. The RODE PSA1 Swivel Mount (Amazon ID: B001D7UYBO) did not have a large enough clamp for the 3 inches (it was soooo close though) so I have that clamped onto the desk lip of 5/8 inch. It's not the sturdiest and I'm looking for alternatives, but it hasn't cracked the desk yet or fallen off. Hopefully this information will help those, because I sure needed it and couldn't find it. ... show more

I love everything about this product. Package was secure without any damage to the product. Very easy assembly. Took less then 20min to put everything together. Very stable.     • Very large and spacious desk, awkward height with metal bars underneath

I purchased the Black top with black legs 55" desk from Tribesigns-Way to Origin. The desk is very spacious and came in a VERY large and VERY heavy box. The space across the top of the desk is perfect for my needs; however, the actual height of the desk was not. I am 5' tall, which means my torso and arms are proportionate to my body; therefore, the desk ended up being way too tall for me. The measurement of the desk from the top surface of the desk to the floor is correct on the website description; however, this fails to mention the supportive metal bars that are underneath the top wood. The metal bars underneath the desk makes the overall height of the desk shorter. I found my thighs brushing up against the metal bars and my arms straining to stay in a raised-shoulder 90 degree angle while sitting. I had to adjust the height of my chair to sit as close to the metal bars as possible in order for my arms to even lay flat on the surface of the desk while doing computer work on the desk. This was very uncomfortable. The actual height of the desk from the floor to the metal bars supporting the top of the desk is 26.5 inches. Lastly, since the desk was shipped using freight shipping, it arrived damaged, like other reviewers have stated. The corners of the desk I received was ripped off and you can see the particle board underneath. For this reason, as well as for the height issue, I returned it. Now, I purchased this from Tribesigns-Way to Origin and although it took them about 2 weeks to process my return request, they refunded me $100 (I paid a total of $129.99 for the desk) without me having to ship the desk back. I ended up donating it to Goodwill instead, which is a good thing as I did not want to deal with the hassle of having to drop this off at UPS since it is a very heavy and large desk. I do want to note that Tribesigns-Way to Origin initially gave me a $70 refund deal and when I gave reasons as to why I was returning the desk, they increased it to $99 until I settled with a $100 refund. Tribesigns-Way to Origin is a little sketchy to deal with when it comes to returns, but at least you get most of your money back. ... show more

    • Rocking table...bad design.

I bought this for my computer desk. I got the 55". It's a great size if not a bit tall at the lowest setting. The material is strong! The surface is high quality and the legs are medal. I never ever put anything together and I did this by myself in 30-45 minutes. The instructions were to the point and easy to follow. I love the look. The major issue here is that it's way...way too unstable. It rocks so easily and I screwed each bolt tight. Not crazy tight...but I'm 98% sure it's not me. The way you put on the legs just doesn't provide any support. It's a design flaw. I'm surprised I didn't see any bad reviews about this issue. I've kicked out the legs to minimize the rocking but it's upsetting that a table made of such good material is so darn unstable. Everything else is great. It's useable. But I don't want a rocking table when I'm trying to use my PC. Nor do I want to trust a rocking table with an expencive heavy computer...for this I have to give it one star. ... show more
