I ordered the 70 x 35-inch desk model because I use a 48-inch TV as a computer monitor, and I needed a desk with a little extra depth to prevent eye strain. The order came in a day earlier than expected. It came in a fairly heavy box. I probably could have moved it myself to the place it was being set up, but I was taking every precaution to prevent damage to the desk, so I opted to have someone help me move it from the front door to the spot where I would assemble it. For reference, I am a 6-foot-tall man. Once opened, the parts were easily handled and put together by myself. The box came in looking quite beat-up and ripped in a couple different places, so I was initially worried about the desk having damage. Fortunately, after opening the package and organizing all the pieces and parts, nothing was broken, damaged or scratched. The package was carefully padded with lot of styrofoam, and the various nuts and bolts were neatly packed in small plastic baggies with labels. The baggies were extremely flimsy and one of them had already been torn open, and I read reviews previously that stated a lot of the parts were strewn about the box when they received their desk, so I was fortunate that all the pieces were still together despite the bag having a rip. I managed to put the desk together in about four hours, taking a lot of breaks and working very slowly and carefully. I followed the directions exactly, and despite other reviewers writing that the gaps between the wood pieces was fairly large, I didn't have any trouble fitting them together and the gaps between the pieces are minimal. I docked one star because after have the desk almost entirely assembled, I realized that it was missing a screw for one of the legs and I had an extra screw for a part of the assembly that I had already completed. Fortunately, this desk has multiple points of attachment for almost every piece, so the one screw did not affect the sturdiness of the table, but I'll still need to go to the hardware store eventually to find another similar-sized screw to fully complete the installation. See the second picture for more detail. The desk, once assembled, is quite beautiful and has plenty of space for computer peripherals, papers, office accessories, etc. It also has rubber feet that you can adjust if your floor is a bit uneven and the desk doesn't sit perfectly level. My desk sat perfectly level without any adjust to the feet, but it's a good feature to have just in case. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. I don't think there are a lot of higher-quality desk options that are in this price range. It is a huge upgrade from my previous desk, which was half the size, very wobbly and not nearly as attractive. I would have given five stars, if not for that missing screw. ... show more

I was looking for a desk/nightstand combo situation and this was the PERFECT length. When I put it into my small space, I was initially nervous about how deep it was for my small room, but I’ve come to adore the extra depth, as it lets me comfortably store art materials with enough room to actually make the art also. Also wanted something suuuper sturdy, because I use a hammer sometimes for my work. I haven’t tried that yet, but I love that it’s metal and doesn’t shake as much as a computer desk would. My dog loves to hang out under there! There were two or three screws underneath the table that wouldn’t go in, but based on how many did go in and the sturdiness, I feel okay about leaving them out and still hammering on top. I plan to get something like contact paper to put over the entire surface to protect it from my messy art projects, and change out when it gets dirty. Thanks! ... show more

I recently started a remote work position that required me to have plenty of desk space to spread out paperwork while typing reports on the PC. My old desk was only 24 inches deep and 36 inches wide, and it just wasn’t cutting it. I found this desk and decided to take a chance on it despite some of the negative reviews. I love that it is extra deep which leaves me plenty of room for my paperwork while still having all my extra peripherals and accessories on the desk plus a 35” ultra wide monitor. The build process was a bit of a challenge and definitely required two people. Thankfully, my husband is an engineer and Lego fanatic, so the instructions were easy enough for him. I would not have been so lucky if it were just me trying to figure it out! Overall, the table feels very solid and sturdy, but time will tell as to how well it holds up. The finishes are nice and the vintage wood color matches my separate Vasagle printer stand perfectly. If you’re looking for a nice simple table with extra wide depth, this one is a winner! ... show more

Sturdy but look out Ok I like this desk but it’s not easy to assemble it took some time but my big complaint is the top it came in 5 pieces'. I think its part the deign I picked with the black spot in the middle this breaks the top into 5 pieces so don’t pick this design. Another thing about the top is its much thinner than the pictures show with an ok at best quality to it prone to chipping. one other low quality thing about it is the bottom feet adjusters they are junk you only get about 1/5 an inch of adjustment if that an when I leaned on the desk, they all popped back to the bottom so worthless adjusters. But the desk is sturdy strong just wish they came with a better top a little thicker and only 2 pieces' not 5. ... show more

Pros: 1. Desk does seem stable in the time I've had it. Does have a bit of side to side movement 2. installation was very simple for the smaller variants of the table ( I got the 55x24). 3. Packaging was good. No physical damage to the table top. Cons: 1. Might find it hard to clamp things to the the table such as a monitor mount. However I did find a mount that had a 3.5 inch clamp that works. The length of the edge of the table is 3 inches for reference. 2. Pretty hard to find any reasonable cable management solutions that doesn't involve drilling into the table due to the 3 inch lip at the edge of the table. I also don't feel safe drilling into the table even though I'm sure it would be fine. Overall it's a good table that offers a minimalist look. The legroom is pretty wide to accommodate putting equipment under the desk. I couldn't get myself to buy a standing desk so this was basically the compromise. For sure it will be able to hold a lot of weight for office equipment. But probably would be a hard sell for someone that needs to mount equipment to the table. ... show more
