    • INSTRUCTIONS WERE FOR A BOOKSHELF. I ALMOST RETURNED BOX.

Be aware: We ordered two 86” tall double rod closet organizers. When they arrived, the outside of both shipping boxes listed a 3’ tall unit as its contents. Once we opened it, the instructions were for a bookshelf. I was ready to tape it back up and return them both to Amazon, but my curious husband noticed a part in the box that clothes would hang from so he decided to lay out all of the pieces. It turned out that we had the parts for the clothes unit we ordered after all, but it was in the wrong box with the wrong directions. My husband was able to build the units with some assistance from the bookshelf directions. Screws listed were similar. The back supports in the bookshelf directions say they connect with a screw in the center where they crisscross, but ours were not drilled out in the center to receive a screw. It isnt a structural issue so we didnt worry about that step. The units are up and are very nice and sturdy. We are happy with them. ... show more

I was quoted a ridiculous price to get someone else to put a closet organizer into my walk in closet and then started my search to try and do it myself. This was the one I picked after a lot of looking. I bought two. It was everything I needed. It’s very tall, which is what I wanted because my ceilings are high in that closet. They were easy to put together. I had another person to help get them into the closet after I put them together. It wasn’t too difficult to maneuver them in. I then anchored them to the wall on both sides of each organizer and started putting things away. As you can see they hold a lot. They are very sturdy and I don’t really see what others are talking about when it comes to being dangerous. If you follow the instructions and anchor them they should be fine. I don’t have littles anymore so I’m not worried about anyone climbing on them. They look great and I’m proud of doing it myself! I saved a lot! Plus I believe the price went down…If I had another closet I would buy them again! ... show more

First let me say how wonderful the seller’s customer service is. I had some questions regarding shipping and they responded immediately and was extremely helpful. in regards to the product. This item is very sturdy, holds a lot of clothes and was very easy to put together, which without any help. However, the reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because the middle shelf does not fit, once you add the screws to either side of the areas to hold the closet system together. The shelves on the top and on the bottom, fit perfectly fine, because there are no screws. I tried everything to make it fit, including trying to remove one of the screws, using a rubber mallet, etc. There is no way that I found to be able to install the middle shelf without tenting the shelf and forcing it in. Anyone have advice on that? ... show more

purchase 2 items and both are missing what the vendor labeled w-5, fastener for the cross brace. have not put it together to see how it fits.
