The instructions are a little vague but don’t worry if your shelves aren’t lining up with the holes. Just lay the unit down, pull out your bottom ladders and turn them around. Very easy fix. It looks gorgeous, it’s super super sturdy and we bought another style and a coffee table from the same company. The trapezoid shelves were way easier to assemble.

For something similar from a big box store, expect to spend a lot more money. This fit perfectly where I needed it to both in size and color. Assembly was pretty easy, but the steps could have been a little more refined. other than that it does what it's supposed to do and seems sturdy enough to display the stated object weight on each shelf.

The media could not be loaded. Solid metal, mdf/composite material is nearly indistinguishable from real wood, zero splitting or cracking when screwing into pre drilled holes which almost always happens with this type of product. Super heavy, convenient. Very sturdy. Haven’t strapped to wall yet(but will) as I don’t see any possibility for a cat to take this one down. Other than a few minor gripes with the instructions I pointed out in my video I think there’s zero reason to be genuinely let down by the product. At its sale price it was the best bang for the buck so I rolled the dice and got lucky this time with an extremely well made shelving unit. Way better than most things I’ve bought in this category. Real, heavy metal supports, the best mdf/particle pressed faux wood I’ve seen, does not look out of place with “expensive” furniture.

I don't often do these reviews but found so many regrets in this purchase that I decided it was necessary. I have put together many diverse in types of furniture and shelves for over 2 decades. I recognize that assembling takes time and organization and assumptions that this is going to be either 2 hrs or all day or maybe require a "walk away" for the afternoon. This product was simply a nightmare. First with so many different panel, labeling, front back, top bottom was critical. If providing illustrations without notes, at least magnify the illustrations. And, wait, illustrations without process guidance notes is just negligent. With this kind of product step by step guidance and larger detail pictures are required. One person could have done notes providing it for many customers. Otherwise, the two pieces that I did get through by counting the little dots that I believe were holes for W1 connection is just sitting here. And to mark parts by marker on plastic bags was my first clue. I came this far because I was impressed by the little screwdriver and the gold allen wrench. Shame on this company because they have some great-looking bookshelves.

We have two of these shelves, and they are both completely different. The first one, which we purchased in June of '23 is very well made with sturdy metal framing and really nice dark wood. The second, which we ordered from the same exact listing and seller, has much thinner metal, uneven shelves, a slightly different design and just isn't quite right. Which sucks because we bought it to match the first. The first one has held up really well but I'm concerned how the second one will do once we put all the things on it I had planned
