These were described as fitted but they are super fitted - if you don't want it so tight I'd size up. I normally wear a small so I bought small and it's very tight on me, but I was looking for a more fitted style. The length is not cropped but not long either. The fabric is very soft and stretchy. I get hot easily and this shirt did not make me too hot. The neckline is high enough they it looks good layered under a sweater. The price is great so I bought two - one in black and one in white.
