Maybe I could size down, but I like the way they look and feel. They are a tad long. I will have to have them hemmed. These are such a classy finished look. I’m 5’3”, 196 lbs, 33-inch waist, rectangle body shape with a bit of a pouch, and athletic calves and thighs. Because of my legs, I prefer wide leg jeans. I like them even better with extra length because I often wear heels or platform sneakers. I love the length of these. For ladies over 5’5”, you may be disappointed. I ordered size 14, but these have a bit of a stretch which helps with the comfort. They are not a heavy denim and will be perfect for hot summers. The pockets are deep and the quality is good. Waist fit great, but a little long for my 5’2” height, I have to wear healed boots and the bottom of the jeans is just above the floor. Material is soft and very comfortable. All seems are well stitched and a great value for the cost.
