Rather impressed with these shoes. I work in a restaurant with a very slippery kitchen floor (if not wearing non-slips), and these shoes performed just as well as my more expensive name brand non-slip shoes. They are true to size and comfortable. The insole is easily removable just in case you want too add your own. For the price, these are really nice work shoes. I was looking for a pair of black shoes that work with being on your feet ALL day. I read the reviews on here and the reviews helped me so much on purchasing them. They came in literally an hour before I had to leave for work so I took a BIG chance on throwing them on and praying to God the reviews were right. When I put them on they felt good from the start. (Did NOT have to break them in) went about my day. Worked my shift and for the first time in 6 months I did not come home with back, leg, or foot pain. These are for real miracle shoes for being on your feet all day. My review is based only on comfort and pain free. I do not deal with water so I can’t tell you if they are water proof. I can't complain. I was under the impression these were waterproof based on the video but I was wrong they are not. However, I'm blown aware by the quality of these ! I work with dogs so I'm constantly running back and forth and on my feet for hours. These are super comfy, and don't really feel like they need to be broken in. Wore them day off to work and they were great. Also very lightweight. I also always have to step through water or accidentally walk through messes, so I'm appreciative that they are indeed slip resistant ! The toe box is thick but light so it offers a little protection from paws or structure hitting you just a tad. I got the 5.5 because I usually wear five but I find that my toes hurt or feel swollen after walking so much and the 5.5 weren't that much big but the comfort level was obvious ! I also love that you can slip them on and off. We'll see how long these last me. Usually my shoes wear down after 5 months or so. ... show more

Nice shoes had to wear them for a while before I gave a review. Got a lot of compliments. Price is great. I work on slippery surface and I haven't slipped one time that makes me happy. I have bought other so called non slip shoes and well ouch. I hit the floor 3 times not a good feeling. Now these shoes have really stood up to the wet floors and even walking outside on the wet ground. They are comfortable and sporty. I actually had 3 coworkers buy some also. They are a must have. So for all my ladies looking for a good looking work shoe, grab a pair of these, you won't be disappointed. Comfortable and light weight. I usually wear an 8 and had to get a 9 in these so for me they ran almost a whole size smaller. I had to return the first pair, but the second work great for being on my feet all day and the shoe laces are easy to tie tight enough to stay on and tied throughout the day.
