Wheelie bar, assembled (black) (fits Slash, Stampede, Rustler, Bandit series) Use Traxxas stock and hop-up replacement parts to get the most out of your Traxxas RTR vehicles. This product is made from high quality materials and designed for long-lasting performance. This is replacement hardware for use on Traxxas vehicles; consult your user's manual for exact parts listings. From the Manufacturer Traxxas has engineered a bolt- on wheelie bar mount for Slash, Stampede, Rustler, and Bandit that uses the unique patent-pending Traxxas adjustable wheelie bar. The wheelie bar features four position adjustment, plus it quickly and easily installs onto the rear of any electric Slash, Rustler, Stampede, and Bandit. Existing wheelie bar accessories such as the aluminum wheelie bar wheels with rubber tires (part 5186) or the separate rubber tires (part 5185) are also compatible for custom looks and increased performance.

So I have a Traxxas Rustler 4x4, and if you have one too, you've surely noticed that the stock wheelie bar is extremely flexible, making it difficult to have stable wheelies. On Traxxas's website, they had a Rustler write up that uses this wheelie bar and a few other components to mount this on the Rustler. This wheelie bar has a solid mount rather than the flexible stock one, and the wheelie bar height is adjustable by unclipping it on the "bar" its on and moving it up and down. Absolutely awesome for setting it low to prevent high wheelies or "launch flipping" and being much more in control of wheelies. One thing I had found is that in rougher terrain if the back end of the car comes down on the bar sometimes it will unclip from adjustment bar and lay on the ground behind the car, I solved this by getting a soft velcro cable wrap and using that to "lock" the bar in the position I want it in, works perfect with no issues and is well worth the money. Traxxas is always a good choice for rc hobbyists from beginner to advanced. Durability and reliability are both great with their products and customer support is excellent though I have had no issues with this particular product and I have had some really bad crashes. But this wheelie bar is still going strong much better than aluminum in my opinion ... show more

I searched for a specific wheely bar and this popped up so I got it without reading. Didn't fit my emaxx and that's when I saw my mistake. I did however use some washers and bolts to make it work anyways with some clever assembly and it works great! It's plenty durable and will work great for your brushless trucks as it is intended to be used for! ... show more

My rustler used to flip over when I full throttled it, this has worked great at keeping it stable through wheelies. Connects straight to the motor cover and the body so I'm not really worried about it coming off or breaking.

An absolute must AFAIC! An OEM accessory designed to keep your expensive 2WD Traxxas stadium racer (Stampede, Rustler, etc.) from flipping under hard acceleration AND acts as a protective bumper (wheelie bar section is removable for use as a stand-alone bumper as well) for the expensive and fragile drive components (motor, gearbox, suspension, etc) located in the rear of the vehicle. Perfect fit and supplied with all needed hardware and detailed illustrated instructions. Made from the same HD nylon that the chassis is made of. Three-position adjustable wheelie height, with optional upgraded wheels/tires available in various colors. I installed this, along with the RPM wide bumper on my Nephew's Rustler that I got them for Christmas 2015, and it immediately began paying dividends. I immediately smacked the thing into several walls, at a decent clip in both directions, and it held up beautifully. It also allows for great extended power wheelies without fear of flip-over. A must have for the traxxas Bigfoot original. Without this you will ruin the rear lexan body and crack it when the truck does a wheelie which is very easy to do even without wanting to do it. Small flaw in one of the arms that hug the axle it dislocates and has to be moved back by hand. Car still drives fine when it dislocates and wheelie bar continues to function. ... show more
