An awesome friend who is clearing out things before he dies gave me a whole bunch of really awesome books that I have wanted for a long time but that are very expensive. Score! But we live across the country from each other, and making this elderly friend pack them up and mail them to me would be nuts. So I sent my sister, only a few towns away, to pick them up, and then I left them stored in my mom's overcrowded bedroom for about a year until I finally got around to visiting them. I know, slacker daughter. Anyway, I finally made it out to visit them, and they reminded me about the books (which, frankly, I'd completely forgotten about by this time). I planned to hit a local large retails store to acquire a box and some shipping tape to mail the books to me (we're talking about 20 books here). After pricing the cost to ship, even via media mail, and realizing I had the opportunity to take a second bag for free on my flight, dragging them across the country with me seemed to be the most cost-effective option. I searched for an inexpensive bag that would fit the books and could be delivered the next day. This one was the chosen bag. Anyway, long story short, I put a whole bunch of books in this bag and checked it in with the airline to fly back with me. I crossed my fingers it and the books would make it. Success! The bag held up with no problems and remains in excellent shape. (The books also arrived safe and sound.) This is a sturdy bag and definitely worth what I paid.

I absolutely love this bag! It is the perfect size to squish under the airplane seat and still have room for your feet. It is made of a very sturdy material and has a wet pocket, plastic lined . I love all the pockets and roomy interior! It does have a shoulder strap, but honestly I have not tried it. I have it in purple and black. It is so reasonably priced that I will buy it red also.

Purchased this bag for an upcoming international trip. Size is great, lots of pockets and a place for my laptop. Fits perfectly on my luggage handle. Gave 4 stars because I specifically ordered the bag with the matte accents and handles, but got the version with the shiny ribbon accents.
