Expensive as they are basically $10 a piece. The thickness is not what you see, but they get better when you wash them. I almost sent them back because they were so flat when I first got them. Also- though the photos show the STONE color as GREY in the picture- they are really stone. I bet the GREY color which looks almost black is probably a basic grey of the STONE pictures. Weird. Anyway, I like the towels- the design. I think they could be thicker and the colors more accurate. But overall, satisfied with purchase. Might order the GREY to see the color options.

These are lovely hand towels for the price. Their color is great. They bulk up nicely when washed and are delightfully soft, yet hold their shape. I have a slightly more pricey set of cotton hand towels from Turkey, also by Salbakos, a bit different in color and texture, but just as pleasing. I am really sold on this brand. Their towels are everything promised, and more. A personal aside: It is also so good to know these towels don't come from a country of origin that has become all too ubiquitous in our local stores, a land known for wonderful people, but products that have harmed household pets. Who would want to use something close to their skin from THERE?

We live in Florida and with our last set of towels I always noticed that my man's towels would kind of start to smell off quickly...despite using vinegar and baking soda in the wash. I did some research and was directed to invest in Turkish towels...and they are amazing. These dry quickly after use in shower and months later, NO ODOR ISSUES! YAY! I will say...they do take a little longer in the dryer after washing them then a cheaper towel, but totally worth it. We are very happy with this discovery and will always purchase Turkish towels going forward.

After 5 washings these towels are junk, they never stop clogging my lint filter. I wash them separate from other items as the color also RUNS ! With all the material they have lost they do not absorb. The manufacturer wanted to give me $7 back ! What a joke ! I would give them ZERO stars if that was possible !!
