These are not as soft as claimed. After a few washes (and yes, I did follow all of the directions) they become hard and uncomfortable. I ended up giving up on Amazon for towel shopping since I could never feel if something was soft enough and had to go out to the store. It's upsetting, because I tried several brands of towels but I think they are all purchased from the same factory that makes subpar quality towels. Oh well. ... show more

I like the towels; they are soft and thick. My only complaint is that I should have looked more carefully. I assumed an 8-piece towel set would have 4 washcloths, but instead it has 2 bath mats.
