I've been using this horn bag for a couple of weeks now. I like the size and overall design and the bright blue is easy to spot. It carries 4 bottles of water or smaller Gatorade bottles, a snack for me and a snack for my stallion, my phone, keys and a small first aid kit. Everything fits and is easy to access without dismounting first. I like the drape of the bag once it's full and in place. It stays within the saddle pad edges and isn't rubbing my horse anywhere. I can get on and off without banging in it because it doesn't rise above the horn. My only complaint thus far is a spot of seam stitches that are trying to come apart. Hopefully, this bag will survive a 4 day overnight ride next week. ... show more

I love the size and durability of this horn bag. The front pockets are the perfect size to hold keys and a cell phone. I can get a couple of small water bottles in each of the larger pockets. In my opinion they aren't really insulated like a lunch bag or cloth cooler--there aren't any layers. Since I didn't buy it for insulation properties, that doesn't matter to me. The zippers and velcro on the pockets are nice and sturdy so even if you get hung up with a knee knocker tree on the trail, your stuff isn't going to fall out. The inside of the large pockets is an oiled finish so seems to be water resistant. None of the moisture from my sweating water bottle leaked through to my saddle. After my first day trail riding (8 hours, it didn’t rub against horse or saddle), my corners are fraying and some stitches are loose. Super disappointed, as I’m a big fan of the brand. These simply did not stand up to one days wear well at all. If it was a whole trail season, multiple rides over a span of time (with washing in between to break down sweat and dirt buildup) I’d understand, but this was a photo from the first evening coming back. ... show more

I LOVE this horn bag. I ride a lot of long, hard trail rides, through water and mountains. This little bag stays in place, you don't even notice it is there. It sits perfect on any saddle (I've used it on three different ones) and it is big enough to hold up to four bottles of water plus other items. I love the outer side pockets, i put my keys and cell phone in them. I have a larger cell phone and it fits just fine.
