I got two of these in the brown tool. One for a regular western saddle which i review later once i try it one. The second is for an aussie western saddle. So I knew this would not fit exactly bacause of the aussie saddle shape. But my saddle has a horn and long western hybrid sturrups. Im very pleased with it though. It's very attractive and seems of good thickness. Wish it was lined though. Appears to be able to keep the aussie saddle mostly dust free which is what we needed. ... show more

Cover is made of thick material and is big enough to cover a roping saddle. The elastic straps on each corner help hold it on ,and the stirrup covers have pockets large enough for the oversized stirrups on my saddle. The pocket that goes over the horn is a little tight for a roping horn, but it still fits okay. It does a good job of keeping my saddle clean in the tack room of the barn. I ordered 2 more for a barrel saddle & Australian trail saddle. They are completely covered, but since these saddles both have smaller and rounded skirts, the elastic straps don't hold the cover down as well. Overall, a good cover. ... show more

This is the first western saddle cover I have ever bought. Was expecting a more elastic, form fitting, fully enclosed cover like my english saddle covers over the years.... this is not that but it will keep the dust off. I mainly got it for that purpose and so I could put my sweaty/hairy used saddle pad on my saddle without getting my saddle dirty. It works for this purpose. For the price, it’s fine. If it were more expensive, I’d return it. Not meant for travel, as it only sits on the saddle with small elastic straps behind the skirt and sleeves for just the stirrups.... ok for just storing in the tack room. Looks clean and professional in my tackroom at work. I got a black one and a black paisley. Wouldn’t have gotten any of those yahoo colors.... good item but was expecting something different. ... show more

Tough 1 Heavy Denier Nylon Saddle Cover by JT International Inc was delivered on time but order was not totally correct. I ordered three total, two were supposed to be one color and the third was supposed to be the camo type color. I got three of the one color. I did not bother with sending the one back for an exchange because I needed all three for an upcoming family trail ride. The overall fit, quality and performance is average rating - kept our saddles dry in a short drenching rain, fit our gaited horse saddles and fenders, and looks nice on the rack. And the price was right. I took off a point because the order was not correct. We have only used them once so far - will let you know how the elastic holds up! ... show more

    • Too big for my saddle
The saddle cover is durable and well made but it is too big for my saddle. My saddle is contoured and does not have a horn. The only elastic I can use is the one for the fenders. the pockets for the stirrups are too small. I'm going to keep the saddle cover because it is so durable and have yet to find a cover that will fit my type of western saddle. ... show more

Used to cover western saddles. I ride most days. After 3 months use, the seam at the horn area tore. Fixed and strengthened it with good ol' duct tape. Otherwise looks good and covers saddle well. Have older one on a 16" barrel saddle, and recent purchase one on a 14" trail saddle. Would buy again.

    • Just what I needed
Color: Red
The saddle cover is just what I needed to protect my saddle in the summer when we keep it in the horse barn. We have the expensive quilted covers but they don't "breathe" and we were having problems with mildew. This cover is heavy duty and yet the saddle can dry out underneath. It protects from dust, cats, and any other critter that may decide to use the saddle as a perch. It's easy to put on and I like that with the stirrups fitting into a pocket it stays on even if you are moving it from one place to another.
