I am not completely comfortable with the seat being velcroed onto the rest of the saddle. How secure/strong is that Velcro? And the stirrups are attached to the detachable saddle? I am pretty old school. Been 30 years since I bought my saddle of choice- hoping this is it?

Fits both my Quarter Horse as well as my war horse Percheron. I have had injuries to my shoulders yet I can lift this saddle with one hand, no problem. English-based saddle with Western Saddle interchangeable cinch design. Comfort is exquisite. Even the stirrups that came with the saddle are gnarly plastic. I swear that its a 3D printer object and that plastic is indestructible. I've owned two other Saddles from Cashel. I usually switched out the stirrups and cinch for my own accessories but this time I'm keeping the stirrups, they are that substantial. Great saddle for trails and jumping. And I don't have to ask hubby to lift up the saddle onto the horse's back for me. ... show more

Ordered by mistake on my smart phone which didn't show me one-click ordering was on and I didn't know I ordered it until funds were taken on my debit card. I fixed the issue with the phone and decided to try the saddle. I'm still not sure how well I like it but plan to give it a fair trial.

Well can't really give it any stars since I didn't get the right saddle. The one I got does Not have handle on front, it has padded knee area (large padded bumps on side of saddle where knees go and it's a different pattern on material. The one I got looks nice but it is not the one in picture. Waiting to hear back from seller about issue. ... show more

Very good quality. Very comfortable and fits all of my horses well. No pressure points and rides like a size bigger seat. Allows you to feel all movement of the horse.
