The media could not be loaded. I own two, shown. The blue is on its 4th winter and aside from one tiny hole, looks brand new and all the buckles, straps and hooks work perfectly; nothing has broken or ripped. Bought the purple for this winter. These horse are not the same size but are wearing the same size blanket. Sorrel horse is about 4” longer and a bit taller and is very pregnant. The blankets are very adjustable so if in doubt on size I’d size down, but follow the guide and measure your horse. Heave and warm, easy to put on. The hind straps could be a little tighter but they are fine (they are not so loose they could be stepped in) Love this product. ... show more

My big guy has been through more rugs then I thought possible within the last few years. I’ve had rugs from all the big brands, Rambo, WeatherBeeta etc. and he’s ripped right through them all within a few months. I decided to get him a Tough 1 as it was the most affordable option and it looked like it might last him for a bit through our terribly cold winters. He’s been wearing it for a few days now out in the paddock and he’s warm and happy. All the straps were easily adjustable and it was fairly easy to fit to him. My only complaint is that it’s a little snug around his front end but not so much that it is unusable. It seems to be holding its own and is plenty rugged on the outside while nice and warm on the inside. I’m sure he’ll manage to somehow poke a few holes in it before he’s done with it but for the money I’d definitely say it’s worth it. ... show more

My horse has another brand blanket in 69” and it fits well in the chest. This runs bigger and sags around the chest /neck and rain gets in. It has already ripped after 1 week at a seem in front. Not sure if quality or horse🤪. However, seems like a nice rug and longer than other brand, as well.

I've been a fan of Tough 1 blankets for years. Any time I get another horse or otherwise need another blanket Tough 1 is where I go. The thoughtfulness and functionality in design features are awesome. Get a blanket sized close enough to what your horse needs and the features on the blanket will adjust for a custom fit. My weird shaped pony mare really appreciates the velcro adjustments at the sides of the neck. It's really made a difference in how she wears her blanket. These are waterproof and I sleep well at night knowing my horses on pasture have the protection they need. The grey blanket on my perlino mare was surprisingly lovely! ... show more
