I find that these stretchy jegging jeans are way more comfortable for sitting at my desk or long rides in the car than even my roomiest regular denim. When you need to leave your home office but don’t want to step out in full-on loungers, this pair is a great grab-and-go solution. I tried Torrid's version because I was hoping for something a little more styled than the basic jeggings I already own. These do look elevated—thanks to that three-button waistband and short front zipper, which feels like a nod to real jeans without losing the comfort jeggings are known for. That wide waistband also stays flat and doesn't roll down in the front, which is a win. Let’s talk pockets: there are five, and they're actually functional! The front ones are shallow—about half of my iPhone fits in there—so not ideal for phone storage, but still better than the fake-pocket situation that most jeggings come with. The fit? Surprisingly good, though I had to size up compared to my usual brands. That might just be the way these are cut or possibly due to my personal proportions (I’m curvier in the hip and seat area than most folks with my frame, which tends to shift the fit). On my 5'3" frame, the length was perfect and hit like a full-length jean, but taller folks should expect more of an ankle fit. The fabric has less spandex than some other jeggings I’ve tried, and that’s a plus here. They didn’t get baggy or bunch at the thighs after wearing them all day. In fact, they kept their shape shockingly well. Bonus points for the solid YKK zipper—none of that flimsy stuff that gives up after a few wears. Here’s something to watch out for: the three-button closure looks sharp but those buttonholes are super snug straight out of the bag. Early morning hands, or anyone with dexterity or grip strength challenges, may struggle to fasten these easily. So while they’re technically in the jegging category, they behave more like stretchy black jeans—refined enough for work, dinner, or any moment when you want to look like you tried (but still feel like you're cheating the system). I love everything about these pants. I'm 5'5" and 220 pounds. I got these pants in a size 16R. They fit perfect. The waist has a slight stretch to them...not like an elastic band...just the denim stretches slightly which was nice so they weren't tight when I sat down. The length was perfect...they didn't bunch up at the ankles or were too short. Now, if the weather in Arizona can drop below 100 degrees I can wear them outside.
