Overall this is more or less perfect for me, but there are elements that won't suit everyone. Would expect this to have a very long service life. Hook / hanger: there is no adhesive on this; it stays up by negative pressure when two flat glossy surfaces meet. Glass, flat smooth plastic, large-ish tile with a shiny finish - should stay up indefinitely as long as surface is clean and dry when it is applied. Curved or textured surface - will probably fall immediately or soon after it's applied. If mounted to a suitable surface, it's more than strong enough to hold the scrubber. Handle: great texture, easy to grip if wet or soapy. Has some flex, so my initial concern that it might snap is now very low. Have had this happen with multiple rigid plastic handles I've used before. Angles are great and when hung up, the bend in the handle keeps the brush head tilted out so it won't drip down the wall. Maybe people with larger hands may think it's a little tricky to hold / control, but it think the flat profile would compensate for that. No problem for me. Brush head - octagonal shape looks good and softer silicone portion with the bristles ("fingers" is maybe the better word) wraps snugly around it. It appears the two may be bound together with an adhesive and not just tightly wrapped (I didn't try too hard to pry it off), but in any case, I don't see them separating with typical or hard use). The rigid flat extension of the handle has a tiny bit of flex, so works best on flat or rounded parts of the body. Brush will hold a lather well, but much more effectively with a shower gel / body wash / liquid soap. Bar soap is an option, but it's a little more work. It certainly generates some friction, but someone looking for a replacement for a loofah, plastic bristle brush, buff puff or similar products with real scrubbing "bite" against the skin may be a bit underwhelmed with this "scrubber." There is occasionally a "squeaky" sound running low on lather, if that's a concern. Could use for the back only or for most of what you'd otherwise use a washcloth for. I don't notice it trapping any hair (I don't have a lot to trap), and it rinses clean easily - as I would expect from a silicone product. No broken bristles or any sign of wear in the few weeks that I've been using it.

I tried to avoid paying this much for a back scrubber but it just wasn’t worth it. After trying other cheaper versions with bad build quality and flimsy handles I had wish I had just purchased this to begin with. Great quality and the handle doesn’t bend when using. The wall suction hanger isn’t great and will need to find a better way to store it but the brush itself is worth it!

UPDATE 2024 - 12-23: Have had this for over a month & still absolutely love it. It's still good as new and is very much the best back scrubber on the market. If you are even considering buying it; just do it. End. Just wanted to shoot out a really quick review. Will try to flesh out more later but; as soon as I got this thing, I knew it was "the one"!! The problem with most other scrubbers - especially back scrubbers - is that they are made of some sort of organic material, which no matter how careful you are, get very moldy, gunky and gross, extremely quickly. And they are impossible to fully clean, or at least to fully remove all the staining. I have the Tooletries soap dish and it is amazing! (I mean; how excited can you really get about a *soap dish*?? What does that tell you about how wonderful these products are! LOL) No matter how gunky the soap dish gets with soap scum - NEVER any mold - I just run it under warm water and rub it between my hands like it is a bar of soap and it comes clean with very, very little effort. Even the little nooks and crannies each come clean super quick and it becomes absolutely good as new. I'm confident that this back scrubber will be exactly the same, as its made out of the same beautiful material. I read a couple comments of people saying that it was hard to lather, wouldn't hold suds, etc; but that's not my experience. At least not my very first try today. I just took my regular bar of soap, scrubbed the bar back and forth on the back scrubber pad until it was soapy - which did not take long at all. Then scrubbed my back and it held the soap surprisingly well. Better than I thought, and definitely better than organic scrubbers which all just absorb the soap & water more than anything. The best part is of course is it rinses super clean and I'm very confident that like my Tooletries soap dish, it will stay that way!! Amazing, amazing product! I'm very much looking forward to a lifetime of no longer having an itchy, oily back, or bugging my poor wife to have her come scrub my back. Eventually, I'm going to switch out ALL our bath products to Tooletries! Beautiful, amazing, wonderful gear!!!

Durable, ergonomic design with long enough handle for hard to reach spots. Very easy clean up. No worries of unhygienic mold growth from a damp environment when compared to wood handled brushes or even bristle brush scrubbers. The silicone bristles are sturdy enough to scrub and do hold alot of soapy suds...but are gentle enough not to be abrasive on your skin. All in all it is a great buy and highly recommend. Only wish there was more choice in color available other than just grey, black or camo.

so most back scrubbers the brush is either to rough or to soft to do anything. This one with the silicon is just perfect. easy to use and easy to clean the soap off.

I have to be honest and say I have never owned a back scrubber before. I have used it for two weeks now. I absolutely love this thing. The ends aren’t too hard or too soft. They are just right. It gets every portion of my back. Im very happy I selected this product.
