The only problem is that they are not the same after washing. The directions state to wash them inside-out and line-dry them. For reference, my husband got a 30W 32L and he is normally a 31W 32L. The material is really nice and has a great stretch to it, so it fits comfortable around his waist and is not restrictive. The length sits in exactly the right place where they drape slightly over his dress shoes. The only thing is the color was a little darker than he expected. He ordered a navy blue and in most lighting they look blue, but the blue is a lot darker than the navy he expected. LOVE the stretch fabric! I'm 58 yrs old, 6'3, 230 lbs and comfortably wear size 40/32 in these pants. They sit at the waist (not below my...err...beer gut), which is the fit I prefer. Love the tapered leg, which is not too tapered, so I don't have to fight to get my size 12 feet through the bottom ;-) . I now have two pair, probably going to get the black ones for winter.
