Everything about this costume is a hoot and a half! We bought this largely due to it being unisex and that it could be reused by either me or my husband at events. I'm 5'5" and 3xl; he's 6'4" and XL mainly because he's six-foot-freaking-four (but otherwise lean). It was a tighter squeeze for me, but I fit. The costume looked too saggy on my body and it was pretty clear that I'd have to do some alterations to accommodate the size. My husband was a little too tall, but covering the top of the pants with his shirt took care of most of the aesthetic issue. It still is an awkward fit for him. The legs of the costume looked much nicer on him as the material was more stretched out; on me, it looked frumpy. It looks like he has a Halloween costume and I have a back-up if I ever need one. The batteries get surprisingly hot, which makes sense as the fan REALLY gets going to inflate this thing. Neither the heat nor battery pack was bothering, but it is important to note for safety reasons. Also, be careful with the placement of the fan and the fabric. It took a bit of adjustment, but the first time one of us tried on the outfit, the airflow had been partially blocked. Once we tightened cords and repositioned textiles the costume inflated much better. We let our toddler play with the hat as we plan to use our own. This feels a little too Old West Hobo and not enough High-Ho Silver. So there's some perspective on two extremes of height and weight. Hope this helps you figure out if the sizing is right for you. :) ... show more

    • Fan not strong enough to inflate

The fan/motor provided is not nearly powerful enough to inflate the costume all the way. To make sure it wasn't a leak in sewing, I inflated it with a hair dryer on "cool" up the pant leg but as soon as I stopped the blow dryer, it deflated back down to the weak level the small motor/fan could do on it's own. (In order to even use the costume, I had to swap it with a larger fan/motor we have for a larger blowup full bear costume we already own and it was fine. If I didn't have that to use in a pinch, this would have been returned same day for being useless. Bottom line, it would be an okay costume IF they start selling it with a slightly larger fan/motor so it actually blew up and worked as advertised). ... show more

I was very excited to receive the costume and wear it to a company event. It looks great and it’s price point was excellent. I did not think to completely assemble and ensure it was completely functional before hand. Unfortunately, the day of the event, I donned the costume and started the inflation process. After about 5 minutes with no improvement the in the inflation, I looked over the entire costume for points of leakage. That’s when I discovered the left front hoof hand not been completed. The entire bottom of the hoof was missing so air was just streaming out. Probably just got the lemon. Watch out for others to fully test prior to day of use. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This costume is fun and seems to function well. The material is lightweight, so you will need to remember that is colder climates. The hat is a little flimsy so you might want to get a real cowboy hat if your want to impress. The provided one is fine just does not hold its shape perfectly. I checked all sellers with this costume (seemingly same exact one) and picked this seller (TOLOCO_Costume), even though it was MORE expensive, because it was Prime shipping. Big mistake. I have purchased this same costume before and it wasn't defective like this. The horse doesn't inflate all the way and is sad/droopy. I have replaced with three sets of batteries, spun the fan direction, tried it on four different people, and it is the same broken mess each time. My work Halloween party is tonight, and I don't have time to get another one, so I'll just have to deal with a bunch of "lame" horse jokes. DO NOT BUY THIS!! ... show more

I purchased this costume for our upcoming Halloween party. Out of the box it was packed nicely. I was not expecting the fan on there for that low of a price but it came with one! It fit me a tad bit tight on the waist but its supposed to be to seal the air. I feel like the fan can be upgraded to inflate better but overall its an awesome costume 10/10 will recommend buying inflatable costumes from this company again! ... show more
