We have a three year old that received these “ice skates”. I am amazed at how well they work! She trekked along on the ice and had so much fun with her siblings, and she did not fall a single time. They were easy to attach to her snow boots, and her feet were easy to control on the ice rink. The adjustable size is perfect as we can expect them to fit for a while. The media could not be loaded. The only reason that it almost lost a star is because the directions are very simple and unclear; however, based on the quality of the product, I felt like that warranted it keeping a 5-star status. I purchased a red pair of skate trainers through Walmart, and they were impossible to use. The straps were so long that I had to tie them at the top of my son's feet, and I was not able to get them to stay on at all. I was worried that he was going to trip on the ice due to the straps. I didn't have that problem with these ones. The velcro faces out when installing these. I was so worried at first, I thought the straps were a little too long, but if you keep the metal loop to the side of the skate, they won't hang over, and they are a good size for ALL ages. This is one of the things that I learned while playing with the straps which goes back to the instructions being unclear. They are a little heavy, but that will help him keep his footing, and they are good quality, so I know that these are going to last. These are one of the better pairs that I have seen/used. For reference, my son is two however these are adjustable so they will fit anywhere from 2 to probably 7-8. When they are collapsed, they are about 5 inches long with foot space, once expanded they are about 7.5 inches of foot space. ... show more
