I wish I knew about these sooner for my daughter, but they have been great for my nephew and niece. I am very big on having my kid learn proper behaviors with proportionally sized/oriented equipment. Even at the table I like for my daughter to manipulate her utensils while sitting or kneeling at a proper height. I've fashioned old materials to make an elevated cushion for her to sit on the "big people chairs" ever since she was barely turning 3. This cushion would have been the perfect solution. It is comfortable, and the height is near perfect for when they hit about that age. I've given it to my brother for his kids and they work great. They're are finicky kids and used to have a firm pillow they would sit on but they would just get fidgety and wind up kicking it away. This cushion stays put and they don't notice it enough to want to fidget with it. There is a strap that goes under the seat (this is a little short), and one that goes around the backrest. The bottom of the cushion is a bit of a friction pad to keep the cushion from sliding around much. The cushion wipes up clean very easily. It would have been nice to have a fabric cover, but it hasn't been necessary. The material on top does not soak up anything so it wouldn't really get stained with food too easily. Although this is a great product the pricepoint is still a tad higher that what is also available on Amazon and the fact that you can often find something at home to provide the same purpose. Otherwise, its nice to have and will likely become useful as something else when the kids grow out of them.
