This is basically two pieces of foam with straps. The seat does elevate my child to the right height, and even though it's foam it doesn't compress much under him at all. Both the bottom and the back of the backrest have a non-slip surface to help it grip to the chair. I sat my child on it and helped him sit with his back against the backrest, and his legs had to stick straight out. Pushing him right up to the table helped to keep him somewhat in place, but the way the restraint are on this, they're not very secure for small children. Given how it's attached to the chair, that the back and bottom are two separate parts, how big the bottom is and how much space there is between my child and the straps, I wasn't comfortable leaving my child at all. I sat right next to him with a hand on him the entire time I used this, I didn't feel like he was secure at all. He's only 18 months right now, so it may be better suited to a 4 year old who doesn't wiggle much.

These straps are in a weird position for the child sitting in it. The installation on the chair is easy, and it is very easy to clean off. The cushions seem comfy and firm and they puff up well despite being vacuum sealed for so long. The straps though sit at a young toddlers rib cage and they are expected to sit very far back on the chair. This my be good for an older toddler but at that point i’m not sure the straps are necessary. I’d say to use this if you have a toddler on the large side or over 3.5 years old for the size to make sense.

it works. It attaches to our chair just fine. It has adjustable straps. It wipes off easily. It doesn't come with instructions but it is pretty intuitive. The seat is vacuum sealed so it is pretty wrinkled up when you first open it. But like mattresses that you buy in a bag now days, it will eventually puff out. Overall, it does a job.

This seat comes vacuum sealed and the pictures taken were pretty shortly after removal. It puffed out more as it sat. The buckle straps are adjustable for shorter or longer width and when pulled the straps hold snugly. One simple buckle band goes through the seat portion. Fast set up and fits snug, soft to touch but firm enough to keep my child elevated to the table. The back rest is a nice bonus for cushioning.

While the pieces and parts of this setup are reasonable, the likelihood is that your child will manage to destroy the thin vinyl covering in a fairly short time unless he or she is a super neat eater and not wiggly. The foam pad inside the seat is pretty solid. I don't think the straps would be useful for any child, and using this with the straps could be a problem if not anchored well to a very solid chair.

This booster seat is really nice, and the back rest and buckles are way better than the other booster seat we had. It’s very easy to wipe off, and it fits on our kitchen chairs as well as my parents kitchen chairs and my in laws kitchen chairs.
