It comes vacuum sealed. Instructions say to let it sit 48 hours to fully inflate. But these pics are after only 2 hours. It’s perfect. Just enough cushion but sturdy so she doesn’t sink down. This is a well made booster seat and brings my grandchildren up to a perfect height for eating at the table with everyone else. It’s a firm memory foam and very stable and comfortable. It’s QUICK and EASY to strap on and then take off when not needed, unlike some other seats that are very cumbersome to use. I only use the strap that attaches it to the back of the chair and not the one that straps it to the underside of the chair. With the ages of my grandchildren, it doesnt seem necessary. The six year old doesn’t really need it as much, but he liked his little sister’s so much that I just ordered another one for him. He had fun choosing from the many themed options. I was skeptical before buying this. I am pleasantly surprised how thick the seat is. It has not indented at all. I have a high top table with bar stool chairs and was nervous taking the kids out of the high chair and moving them to the table, and not looking forward to the messes that would happen because they couldn't reach the table from the chair. I found this by mistake and what a pleasant mistake it was. Not only can they reach the table but it's firm and comfortable at the same time. Easy to wash and like I said it is solid.
