They are sequins!!! They never fell off. They lasted in the washing machine multiple times. Eventually the white is not abled to be cleaned that is the only thing that takes away from the shoe’s appearance. The pink color is exactly what’s in the picture. Daughter loves them but the Velcro strap is too long for the shoe. My daughter keeps asking to cut off the extra. But otherwise she says they are comfortable and the sequins haven’t fallen off even after outside play and school play.
