First, if your considering buying this, BUY IT! The quality is GREAT! It came as if I had bought it from a high end boutique maternity shop. The three pieces REALLY make a huge difference! I am not using this for maternity (but wish I had it after my children.) I have adhesion in my side which cause pain and bleed if I move wrong. I have been wearing a lose fitting Squeem, which has fit well but is rubber and left me with a skin infection (like Jock itch.) NOT fun! So I bought this for when I was home. It's AMAZING quality and the lower belt get the part of my stomach that the Squeem does not. It's such good quality it would last you a few pregnancy's! I could not rave enough about this products. Everything is very adjustable. I got the medium and wear a 10 pants. It's true to size! Medium probably best for a 8/10/12 after pregnancy and working to get the stomach flat to fit back into those sizes. A small 8 (before pregnancy I would get a small) a larger 12 (before pregnancy I would go larger.) Your body WILL get back into shape faster if you help it. If your on the fence? I would say buy this it's well worth the money. They even send you a shopping bag as if you had purchased it at the store! You won't find this system at Walmart, JC Penny or even Belk. I've been wearing this on and off for almost 2 weeks now and I love it. Although I wish I was told about this when I had my c-section, either the one 10 yrs ago or the one 14 yrs ago!!! But even 10&14 yrs later after having 2 c-sections, which caused abdominal adhesions and other health issues, this belt is still valuable. It makes my stomach feel better, it helps me use the restroom better and I am super pleased with this product, thank you!!! Oh also, over the last 2 yrs, since my issues have started, I've tried over 6 different types of belts and none of them helped, the only one that helped a little bit was a pelvic stabilizing belt but it wasn't wide enough to cover my hips and the lower part of my stomach, it is only 6 inches wide. With this belt, it is AWESOME to have technically 3 options to make it as comfortable as possible and to do what works best for the body. I would highly recommend wearing it as suggested, right after surgery, so that the issues I am suffering from don't happen to you!!! Wear up to a year or even two AND NO MATTER what pain pills they give you, that make you feel like you're back to "normal" DON'T DO ANYTHING for at least the first 2 weeks!!! And don't take the pills ANY LONGER then 1 week and even at 1 week, your brain can still become dependent pretty fast. Anyways, point being, wear the belt, don't lift anything (expect your baby if you had a c-sec) heavier then a milk jug, so NO DOING LAUNDRY, picking up toddlers, etc and so forth! I have been using this for almost 3 weeks. I’m glad I had this immediately after leaving the hospital- the first stage belt really helped prevent lower back strain. The second stage belt doesn’t fit very well, it’s loose around the top and tends to slide up and bunch up under my bust. Adding the 3rd stage belt just makes everything worse, it slides up too and pushes the other 2 belts with it. It you are standing still, everything works ok, but try to bend over or sit in a car and they all shift out of place. Of course, it’s lumpy and bulky under clothing. I’m not back at work yet, so I don’t really mind this so much. It even makes it hard to button my coat around the midsection because of the extra girth there from the layers of belts. It’s better than nothing, but I wouldn’t recommend this or purchase again. I haven’t washed yet, so I can’t say how it will hold up after that, but I wear a cut off tank top around my torso as a liner as this is not super comfortable worn directly on skin. Sizing: I’m 5’6” and about a size 8 prepregnancy. The 1st and 3rd stage belts fit ok, but the 2nd stage belt is almost too big around for me. If you are smaller than me, this definitely would be too big for you. ... show more

Purchased for postpartum recovery. Based on the size charts, I went with the larger size but it's too big for me. Conceptually, this will work well for recovering moms, but I'm personally unable to get enough compression to feel helpful given the sizing issue. I like that there's more to it than the simple abdominal binder the hospital provides. Can be a bit large/bulky under clothes, but hides decently well under maternity clothes. Does get a bit hot. Had a hysterectomy...fibroids so large they had to slice me up the old-fashioned way (straight 6-inch incision from the belly button). Doc mentioned buying one of these post-surgery, so I bought this one because of the belt options. Each belt is super stretchy, and you can Velcro it to your size/comfort level. Waist/tummy size have noticeably diminished while wearing these after 1 month, and I can fit back into some of my old clothes again. I wear tummy and waist belt together for the support, but for me, I can only wear the hip belt while standing or walking. It just rides up when I'm sitting. But it does feel good and helps my posture when I'm upright and getting some light exercise. I wear them over my shirt. And if I go out, I put on a jacket over top of everything. I'm not back at work yet...but I am also at the age where I no longer care what people think. So, I may take em to work next month. ... show more
