These shoes are nice and seem like they would be very comfortable if you have the right size. For some reason multiple reviews advise to size down. That was a mistake in my case. My usual size is 7 1/2, I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered a size 7. They were too small overall. These shoes are a bit more on the narrow side. Not a true narrow, but if you have a wider toe box or aging feet, these might feel too snug. I’m exchanging for my actual size and hope that works. The foot bed feels very comfortable. The leather is soft, though the heel might take a little breaking in. I will update when I have the correct size and I can properly try them out. (UPDATE!) I returned for my usual size (7.5) and they are SO COMFORTABLE! I’m so happy! I loved these as soon as I took the out of the box and was hoping the advice I took to get a smaller size was where things went wrong. My usual size fits like a dream, no slippage in the heal like others have mentioned… THOUGH I will add these shoes have 360 lacing so theatrically you should be able to tighten the lace to stop the heal from slipping if that’s an issue Get em, they’re great. My new favorite shoes!!! They are comfortable, fit to size so if you’re planing on wearing thick socks go a half size higher, and I cannot fail to mention they are incredibly stylish! I am in love!

True to size, I was worried, I am typically a size 8.5 and this is a great fit. Only slight complain is with sock, while walking at home it feels like it my feet was coming out of the shoe a bit. I had read 1 or 2 reviews that noted that. I will have to tie leather laces tight. I am happy with purchase. Would recommend and may even get in other colors. Beautiful platform boat shoes. The usual amazing Timberland quality and craftsmanship. Exactly the correct sizing if not a tiny bit small. Do not size down. I might have to size up by 1/2 to 1 size bigger.

the quality was great, as expected from Timberland. The shoe was comfy overall. However, it was a bit too heavy. The platform was too thick as well. They would’ve been hard for me to break in. overall, the platform being so large made me feel like a clown. That’s primarily why I returned them.

Love these! They aren’t as uncomfortable as the other reviews state, they were very comfy for me but they do run true to size! I expected them to run a bit bigger as the regular timbs run about a whole size bigger. Overall, very cute shoe and i want them in a few more colors now
