These shoes are nice and seem like they would be very comfortable if you have the right size. For some reason multiple reviews advise to size down. That was a mistake in my case. My usual size is 7 1/2, I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered a size 7. They were too small overall. These shoes are a bit more on the narrow side. Not a true narrow, but if you have a wider toe box or aging feet, these might feel too snug. I’m exchanging for my actual size and hope that works. The foot bed feels very comfortable. The leather is soft, though the heel might take a little breaking in. I will update when I have the correct size and I can properly try them out. (UPDATE!) I returned for my usual size (7.5) and they are SO COMFORTABLE! I’m so happy! I loved these as soon as I took the out of the box and was hoping the advice I took to get a smaller size was where things went wrong. My usual size fits like a dream, no slippage in the heal like others have mentioned… THOUGH I will add these shoes have 360 lacing so theatrically you should be able to tighten the lace to stop the heal from slipping if that’s an issue Get em, they’re great. These shoes are beautiful! They are very comfortable once you break them in (took about 4 days for someone who is used to loafers) and are amazing quality. They’ve even gotten slightly wet when it has rained, but I never slip because they have a good grip to them too.

I bought these because I have trouble finding comfortable shoes, and my timberland boots are the best. The shoe quality is good. The warmth is good, but the wear ability is not.I was really disappointed with how they fit. The size is right, but it feels like your foot is going to slip out when walking.
