I wanted these for an every day, all black sneaker. I purchased these and a pair of all black Naturalizer sneakers. I wanted this style, so I bought both with the plan of sending back whichever ones I liked better. Well, that didn’t work out so well bcuz I loved both pair! I bought these in an 11, and they fit well and r very comfortable. And they afford me the space to wear a thicker sock for warmth, although they keep my feet warm wearing just the compression socks which are about the thickness of trouser socks. They’re well made quality shoes. I haven’t had but one other pair of timberland boots/shoes in the past, and I loved the comfort of those as well. So the comfort/quality is there. I wanted to love these as much as I loved the previous version. I get so many compliments on them as they are sporty and fly. However, I am unhappy that the tongue keeps popping out of the lower part of the shoe. (No matter how hard I pull on the shoelace) The shoelaces now have the boot color on them after 1 day of wear.
