My boyfriend received his new credit card that replaced his magnetic strip with RFID. While the technology makes it easier for wireless transactions and minimizes contact during the pandemic, it does open the door for potential RFID skimming which is becoming more popular. Social distancing or not, having a card or cards that can send a radio signal wirelessly to someone who may be walking around with a skimmer seems a little risky. Plenty of room in this wallet, with a nice pullout for photo ID and associated cards. I use this in a variety of situations, but certainly it is suitable for outdoor adventures. The leather will show wear more quickly if exposed to a lot of perspiration, so I suggest keeping it in a pack if you are on such a trek. I'm sure this design is very secure against RFID theft, but for me it's overkill, even without the pass case. Every layer of every pocket is made with the RF protection cloth, so each card slot ends being very thick. And when the wallet had all my cards, it was just to bulky in my pocket. I found another one that looks to have good RF protection around the outside but thinner pocket separators. Just returned this one, with no regrets. ... show more

Lots of length for bills, very tight fits for cards. Stiff insides. My old wallet was much nicer, I'm afraid, and this is way overpriced for what you get. It does come in a nice little tin, so I guess you can figure that into the cost.

I bought this for my bestfriend after his dog chewed his old one and he refused to get himself a nice wallet anyways. He loves it. It took about a week of being in his pocket to form and break in but he loves it now. It’s leather, so it’s a little tighter at first, but it thins out and loosens over time to fit the users pockets. It does get indents if you have keys or sharper things in your pockets, but no scratches as long as you’re careful. ... show more

This timberland wallet had a great High Quality feel to it. The exterior had a suede feel to it,while the interior around card pockets had a leather feel. The orange honeycomb finish in the bedding of the money area was a nice touch. I really liked the removable I.D. card holder with card slots. If this wallet was optional/engrave able,and had a zipper it definitely would've gotten 5 stars. Overall though,love this wallet stays true to the timberland pro quality lineup. ... show more
