I bought 2 of these wallets with confidence that I would like them enough to want to have a second when the first became worn out. However, I soon learned that the wallet was sized/cut/manufactured/sewn/stitched in such a way that once you start placing your ID and credit cards and money into it that closing the wallet correctly with the velcro fasteners correctly aligned was an impossibility. I think the manufacturer did not use the correct amount of material to make this wallet because unless you just carry around a driver license, one or two credit cards, and not that much cash, the wallet quickly runs out of room and cannot close properly. I'm giving my 2nd wallet away to a kid. ... show more

I love it. I wanted something besides leather. I figured if I don’t eat beef I may as well not carry a piece of cattle around with me all the time. It holds plenty. I have 7 cards and cash, would hold more. Comfortable in the back pocket. If you like Timberland style you’ll like it.

    • Mostly good, but one unexpected deal breaker

This wallet is fairly thin and well made. I didn't expect the deal breaker I encountered. ALL of my credit cards get seriously stuck in their slots. There is some sort of sticky material inside the card slots that make it VERY difficult to get the cards out. I nearly broke one of my credit cards just trying to release it from the sticky slot. Over time, the sticky coating transferred to may cards making them look dirty (the slots remained sticky.) I'm disappointed. This isn't a cheap fabric wallet. If it wasn't for the stuck-in-their-slots credit card issue, I would like this wallet a lot. Later, I noticed that some other reviewers encountered the same issue. I eventually gave up and bought a different brand... no sticking cards! ... show more

I had an ancient (12 years old) blue nylon Freestyle 'ripper' wallet I decided to replace. I like nylon with a fabric exterior to grip my pocket...leather slips out to easily for me. After looking at many online I decided on the Timberland. I like its feel, small and not too thick, holds cards well and looks nice sitting on my dresser. The money pocket is a bit hokey though with an odd blue striped design. The inner seams are a bit ragged and have a single stitch which is fine at this price.     • Cheap wallet surprised me

I'm not into high end wallets, or... Anything fashion related honestly. I just want a sub $20 wallet that'll hold most of my cards, that DOESN'T break down after 6-8 months of manual labor backside sweat. Gross, but... C'mon, fellow outdoor workers know what I'm talking about. So far so good. Not super high quality, but the materials won't break down like cheap/fake leather. Velcro... Velcros? Holds stuff just fine... Won't get 18 years out of it like wallet before last, but even in all my cheapness glory I don't think it'll break me to buy another every 3-5 years. ONLY con is that this baby will hold onto your cards tighter than your wife needing your card for clothes shopping. You've been warned, gotta speak gently (mass profanity) and caress (rip, tear, unstick, throw against wall multiple times) the rarely used cards to release them. Or... Just hit em with non stick oil. I've used canvas or other fabric wallets for years because leather ones are slick and pop out of my pocket when I sit down. This is perfect with one exception... the material lining the pockets sticks to my credit cards. I have to pry the card and fabric apart to get the cards loose so I can get them out. I thought it would stop sticking after a bit of use but I've been using it for six months and they still stick. Were it not for that problem I'd give it a 5-star rating. ... show more

Exactly what they said it would be, which is WONDERFUL when you're shopping online. It was the perfect replacement for a worn out military wallet, with the same strong material and velcro latch. The cards and money are held securely and the wallet still folds slimly. Great wallet. I might order 50, just in case. 5/19 update: Husband is still using this wallet and it is still in excellent condition! I hope the company doesn't change their incredible product to a less reliable one to make people buy them more often, because this one is awesome! ... show more

Picked initially because of the color. I've always had a black wallet. Really liking the new color. Construction is tops. All stitching is perfect. Interior pockets are well thought out and capable of holding business cards, ID, and credit cards.
