I’ve been having trouble wearing my real rings after having a baby. They have been tight and rubbing a blister on my finger when I wear them too long. I decided I needed a replacement for a while until I lose some weight. I wanted something realistic looking that would hold up for a while. I read a lot of reviews and looked at a lot of pics. It is stunning on, but the prongs on the side of the little gems sit so high that it’s literally cut open the side of my pink finger after multiple days of wear. I will end up returning unfortunately 😭

I purchased this as a temporary replacement for my engagement ring that was unfortunately too big when I first received it. I was worried that it might look super fake but surprisingly enough… everyone thinks this is my real ring! Now, if you take the time to look at it up close then you’ll definitely notice the details that do look fake. However I think to the average person or to those who aren’t familiar with diamonds/gold this looks exactly like an engagement ring. The biggest con to this ring would be the fact that it tarnishes very quickly! But I mean… over the last few months that I’ve had it, I’ve been putting it to the TEST. I shower with it, I was my hands with it on, I do the dishes, I clean, etc.! So I’m not surprised it tarnished. If anything, it makes the ring a bit more believable because it doesn’t have that super yellow color to it anymore. And shine/sparkly factor wise… it’s fantastic! All in all, wearing it has also gotten me used to wearing an engagement ring. I don’t have the anxiety or the panic of potentially losing it because I’m essentially “practicing” with it everyday! This manages to be large without being ugly. Does it look fake? Yes! But not in a silly way. Maybe somebody will just think that your spouse or fiancé was cheap and got you a fake ring and tricked you! At least the ring still does its job. I actually think that from a regular distance or maybe in certain company it actually wouldn’t look fake. Many people might not even consider it and might not think it’s fake at all. It’s close enough to reel. Most people are not jewelry appraisers. One thing that saves it is the style. It is an attractive cut with lots of sparkle, and the sparkle seems based on the cut. I think it is right on point with the size. I have bands of this size, and they are comfortably loose and will almost get past the knuckle without actually taking them off, but won’t actually slip off. This is the same. It’s just that this Ring actually has a stone on it instead of just being a band, so the stone will twist around and not exactly stay in place if I am shaking my handle a lot or something, but it won’t actually slip off past the knuckle. That probably just means that I am in between sizes instead of this Ring being large for the stated size. It seems exactly the same size that I measured using a ruler and standard ring measurements. Five stars because for the prices is awesome, it isn’t hideous; it’s actually sort of attractive; it is comfortable. ... show more
