The waist line of this top works fantastic with a shrug! Although a dressy blouse already, you can dress it up even more with a little shrug if you want. I was happy to find this shirt in short sleeve as I already had one with long sleeves. I highly recommend this company and shirt style. My only caution is to consider the pattern of the design as some work better than others with the wrap layout. UPDATE: I purchased more colors after wearing my first one as it is just so easy to wear, comfy, and with the short sleeves works great with shrugs! /// Disappointed to have to add a note that this top stretched after washing and hanging to dry. I recommend NOT hanging it if you are able to lay in on your dryer or a table instead. I'm going to do that with my others but you can see in my photo of the black print one that has stretched a good two inches longer than a never laundered solid black one. The waistline banding is now lower, plus the V-neck has dropped down. I may have to take this to a seamstress to sew it back up where it's supposed to be. Bummer as I really like these tops!! ... show more
