Threpsi Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made from 100% organic Koroneiki olives in the Messinia region of southern Greece. Our olives are proudly grown on small family farms and produced all naturally using no pesticides whatsoever. Our oil is extracted at cold temperatures, which helps maintain the highest possible nutritional content. The oleic acid level of our oil is just 0.26 percent, making it one of the highest quality oils in Greece. Its low acidity and high biophenol count makes it the perfect blend of flavor and health. It has a rich flavor of fresh olives, and is best enjoyed raw, though it can also be used for cooing or baking.

I am big fan of greek olive oil I shop at Vons years ago came across Athens greek olive oil what a great flavor then came the pandemic and shelves became a mess no more Athens then I find out it was discontinued Trader Joe's sells a decent greek olive oil however I have been trying to get the flavor of Athens came across this brand so I said what the heck lets try it if you want good flavor stay away from organic as this is what I bought maybe it is me but I cannot taste a flavor that does not mean you should not try it certain organic products not so much organic pasta sauce tastes like tomatoe juice lover of cream cheese not organic hope this helps next time no organic for me however would buy from them again ... show more

I ordered this in Dec 2023, and the best by date was for March of 2024. Be mindful when ordering. I use 500 ml/bottle/month so turned out okay, but was disappointed in the short time window / getting a bottle at EOL. That said, I found to be quite flavorful. Been on an EVOO experimental trial project. Tried O Brand (from CA), Sky Organics (Greece), Cobran Estate (CA) and then Threpsi. Each one has been better than the last, so Threpsi wins at this pt. Not sure how you find out the BBD prior to order cuz certainly could not place much in advance or in bulk given the short windows. ... show more

I happen to like Greek and Israeli olive oils most of all, and this one did not disappoint. Excellent quality for the price. Organic and KOSHER CERTIFIED, not just “trust us it’s kosher” like some others listed on Amazon! Much better quality than most olive oils of equivalent price at Whole Foods. Recommend! ... show more

This is a great olive oil. Second time purchasing this olive oil. As a matter of fact this is my second attempt to review this olive oil. Why is that? Who is gatekeeping here? I demand answers. I am FROM GREECE. I KNOW what Greek oil is. This is the way olive oil should be. I can taste the olives bursting with flavor in the oil, followed by a slow burn on the end. This burn lets me know I am getting plenty of the health benefits of the phenols. You cannot beat this quality for the money anywhere.
