1. The pictures are AI or terrible photoshop. 2. The stirrups are bigger than expected. Like chunky. 3. The stirrups don’t stay at the desired height when weight is put in them. My mom friends said theirs don’t stay up either and they have to tape them. The hole at the top to slip over the horn was almost too small. Maybe we’re all using them wrong but they don’t seem like they do much unless you want them at the longest length. If someone can tell me how to fix the issue (without taping them up) then I won’t feel like I wasted my money. ... show more

I have developed the new habbit of riding and tried several stirrups for western saddle. However, this one is really beyond my expectation! This price is much worthwhile its safety. And it is reallty durable. I buy this mainly for my cousin as a kid and this prevents her boots from slipping. This works well on the horse riding. These are functional kid's size stirrups. They are nothing special. I am concerned that the nylon straps are a little slick on the steel D-rings, so they might slip, but they seem to be holding for now. The stirrup itself is plastic and definitely pretty narrow. I couldn't get my boot to fit in there, but a child with kids sized narrow shoes, should be fine. They will acceptable for a kid who is learning and will one day graduate up to something better. ... show more
