Description

This multi-system track set with 3 levels of play includes Thomas, Percy, James and Harold. In addition to being able to use most Thomas engines, multiple configurations allow for layouts that can fit any space in the home. The legs can even be removed to create a micro-layout for smaller spaces! Holds over 100 engines and features over 35 feet / 10 meters of track, and features iconic locations including Tidmouth Sheds, Brendam Docks, Knapford Station, the Sodor Steamworks, the Dieselworks, Blue Mountain Quarry and the SSRC with Harold’s helipad. There are also cargo pieces, adapter pieces to connect to other playsets, two racetracks, floor play and more! Fun features include Cranky the Crane with a crane that can be raised, lowered, and attached to a cargo lift that can be used to raise cargo and engines; and a turntable complete with a stop-track lever to halt TrackMaster engines while your little engineer changes direction. The legs and locations feature tunnels, and there are areas for cargo storage, too. Additional engines and playsets sold separately and subject to availability. This Thomas & Friends toy is simply amazing. My son went crazy over this and absolutely enjoys it every single day. It is a must have. It takes up a decent amount of space though once it's fully assembled, but it can be configured to different layouts. This not only varies the amount of space it takes up, making it easier to fit in different sized aras, but also allows the play to changed so it stays interesting for the child(ren) since you can change the layout and it's like a whole new toy. It definitely has enough room so that several kids can play with it at the same time without any issues. Everything seems to work well, we haven't had any issues with the pieces not fitting together, the crane not working properly, the turntable not spinning correctly, etc. All of the parts function as they should. However, it is daunting to open the box and see ALL of the pieces. There are a lot of pieces, I will admit, and it can seem overwhelming at first. But in reality it was relatively simple to assemble and didn't take long at all; it took maybe 15-20 minutes to get everything out of the box, look over the instructions, and set it up. Much, much simpler than it initially appeared. You'll probably want to have a smaller box or baggie on hand though to store the extra pieces, since not all of the pieces are used for every layout. There will be a handful of pieces leftover that you will end up needing for switching to a different layout, so I found it handy to have some sort of small storage box/bag on hand to keep the instructions and extra pieces organized and together. As an added bonus, it comes with three trains (Thomas, Percy, & James) and Harold the helicopter. It is also compatible with almost every type of Thomas the Train product line, so you can use the regular size and mini size, for example, with this track, making it a great (almost) universal system for all the extra trains your child(ren) may have. Just be sure to double check the type/product line of the trains you have because there are a couple that are not compatible with this track, but almost all are. ... show more

Fantastic toy and I got it on sale :) It was cheaper on Amazon than in any of the stores. It came in a brown box with black lettering, and I highly recommend putting it together and cover it with a sheet for the big reveal. Although if you choose to leave it in the box, it is easy to put together. The pieces snap together. No tools necessary or annoying little screws to put in everywhere. Plus all of the packaging was recyclable. It is by far the easiest toy I’ve ever put together. It’s also easy to take apart and reconfigure. The best part is storage for 100 trains all over the toy. It is compatible with several tracks and different sized trains. The biggest and best gift for the little Thomas the train fan in your life💙 ... show more

My kids enjoy playing with this and has made a fine addition to our wooden track collection. I do like the various configurations and the kids just like racing trains up and down the platform. The reason why it's 4 stars and not 5 is because it cannot be taken apart easily for storage. Some of the connections like the sheds and the crane are semi-permanent where the only way to take them apart is with a screwdriver and patience. My 4y/o son loves this track set. The fact that it has Cranky is the center of his joy. I suggest buying an extra track pack and extra trains as well. Also the rechargeable batteries and charging dock are a must. He and his cousin (5 y/o girl) went all day playing with this and didnt even ask for the phones. This is the only toy/gift from Christmas that my son still plays with daily. It was simple to put together (and honestly, I kinda had fun putting it together) and isn't as easy to destroy as some of his other toys (he has a 1 & 1/2-year-old Godzilla sister). I like that it comes with several connections that allow you to connect this track to the different Thomas track versions. It is quite large, but I think that's one of the reasons kids enjoy it so much. Multiple children can play with it and not get in each other's space. Overall, if your kid is a Thomas the Train fanatic like mine, do them a favor and buy this track!     • Needs a continuous track right on the main table.

The biggest issue I have is that the tracks on the main piece do not go all the way around in a complete circle. It’s shaped like a half circle, and consequently, the track master engines get stopped or fall off the edge every single time. Yes, we could hook up the track pieces to make it go all the way around but they don’t last very long put together with a small child. We went from the Step2 track table to this Thomas “table” mainly for the noise produced on the plastic and hollo Step2 table. But my boy LOVED the Step2 track and so did I other than the noise. He would go round and round and round that table with his long trains. Now he rarely plays with the Thomas table. He prefers to run his long trains on the floor. Poor boy. ... show more

The ultimate in Thomas the trains of any size storage and play center. You can use all size Thomas trains on this. Is a very LG piece so keep that in mind. Also recommend Thomas High Sky Jump which is also a very LG piece. Be ready to take up a room with these two pieces. Very well made. The twins actually caught their dad playing with it. Items are good quality, but unfortunately it’s kind of boring. The lower track doesn’t interact at all with the ramp tracks or the upper base. To use the lower track, the kids must push the cars around climbing around/reaching under the base. There’s no track display that links the lower track to the ramp. Kind of disappointing. My kids (3, 4 and 5) played with this for all of 10 minutes and haven’t touched it since. We bought this and the hot wheels super garage and by far the hot wheels wins. ... show more
