Made well. Fabric light and breathable. Fits well and provides plenty of support. Does not have back strap though like the one I was given at the hospital after surgery. Washes well and can put in the dryer. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a comfortable and affordable sling.

I have a broken humerus near the shoulder joint. This is my fourth sling. The pouch on the others was so short that my wrist hung out causing wrist pain due to the lack of support. This one is just right, but I'm only 5' 6", which means my arms are not so long. If you're 6' tall, I doubt this will support your longer arm. The fabric is synthetic and cool, which is better for sleeping. My first sling was foam padded, and I'd wake during the night with my arm soaked with sweat and itching terribly. The strap is held in place with velcro which makes adjusting the length very easy with just one hand. That's important because the strap on all my slings stretched from the constant pressure on them. So frequent adjustment is needed. The major downside of this one is the lack of a neck pad. Consequently, the strap is uncomfortable on my neck. Sticking a rag under it helps.

After lft.shoulder replacement and the nerve block wore off...I realized just how awful the sling they "gave" me at the hospital was. I knew despite pain meds.,There would be no getting comfortable without replacing it. Some quick research and I hit buy now. With over night delivery... Relief was up there with oxygen I was miserable. Best money spent. Very comfortable, and easy to adjust YOURSELF. Sturdy enough so it doesn't get in your way, but still supports. No trouble adjusting arm angle by pulling or releasing velcro strap. Light as a feather and should wash great. The thumb strap feature was helpful for a day or two, then you get used to adjusting yourself. Very pleased.

This would work very well if you have a cast. It's too unstructured if you don't. Might work best after you've healed a bit more. Nicely made. Fabric is comfortable but a little too soft for my particular needs. Price is very affordable.

I recently suffered a shoulder injury (torn rotator cuff). At first I was gonna be all tough about it and not use a sling, but I was just in so much pain by the midday, from the weight of my arm pulling on my shoulder. I bought an adjustable mesh sling at Walgreens that worked “okay,” but the mesh was slippery (kinda like gym shorts fabric) and it was hard to keep my arm in position, plus the strap had a small, movable shoulder pad that was hard to keep in the right spot. This sling is way better. First of all, it looks better— sleek, black, simple. Second of all, the fabric is comfortable and stretchy but holds your arm firmly in place. And finally, the entire strap is comfortably padded and adjusting the strap is super-easy with just one hand. It’s Velcro but holds securely. I bought the regular adult size and it fits me perfectly (I’m 5’5” and women’s size 14).

This standard arm sling provides good support, is easy to adjust, and is comfortable. It seems well-suited for general shoulder and elbow injuries requiring rest and reduced mobility. The product name could be more precise and should likely remove 'Rotator Cuff Support' to avoid confusion. This sling does not adequately position the shoulder to reduce tension on the rotator cuff following surgical repair and should not be confused with an abduction sling, which is commonly prescribed after rotator cuff and other shoulder surgeries.
