I ordered this ring for my wife as an inexpensive surrogate for her expensive jewelry; something she could wear at work that looks nice, but wouldn’t cause her to have a heart attack if she were to suddenly notice it was not on her finger anymore. That’s already happened, but thankfully the lost ring was recovered. Also, to reduce wear and tear on expensive jewelry. Well, needless to say, if I’m going to present my wife with what is essentially costume jewelry, but sure doesn’t look like it, I’m going to have some fun. So, at dinner out, I presented it to her as an early Birthday present. When she opened it at the table, it was not only her look of astonishment, but the ring too that attracted attention; and probably some envy. The other men around probably hated me for it. Little had they all known. The ring is provided in a respectable ring case, but the lettering is stamped, what I thought would be a giveaway. Imagine my surprise when she became positively incandescent upon seeing the ring; she loves it and loves how it looks on her finger. She was so taken aback and became so emotional that I couldn’t in good conscience let her believe that it’s a genuine diamond, and told her so. Honestly, I don’t think it made any difference, nor did it diminish her affection for the ring. And of course, my avowals of love and devotion that accompanied the presentation were sincere, so there is that. She is truly delighted with it. And apparently, so are her friends. My opinion? It truly looks like a stunning piece of jewelry; it sparkles, shines and reflects light brilliantly and has the clarity and D color of a VVS1 diamond. If nothing else, the fun and delight it evoked is itself a 5-Star rating. ... show more

I purchased the simulated diamond version of this ring. The seller offers this same ring in moissanite, but for a different price. This lab created diamonds ring is beautiful and actually very well made. All stones are set well, the band is reasonably thick, it's marked 925-sterling silver under the band. When the main stone is in sunlight, it sparkles! The stones do have some color to them (see pics) indicative of non genuine diamonds, but it's very pretty. I love the raised style and the setting is gorgeous. A word about simulated diamonds from the web: "They may look a lot alike and be produced in a very similar manner but lab created diamonds and cubic zirconia stones are not the same. While lab grown diamonds are considered to be real diamonds, simulant diamonds like cubic zirconia are not." I think this ring is great, and I'm wearing it stacked with my moissanite bands, which adds more sparkle and shine. This ring makes a great travel ring when you don't want to take along your genuine wedding set. This ring is a good value for sterling and simulated diamond. ... show more

I don't usually get rings this big but I'm a sucker for Moissanite and wanted to try something diffferent. It's an eyecatcher without going too far over the top for most. It fits true to size but I sized up a half size since I prefer that for comfort with wider bands. There's some sparkle, too, more than most diamonds I see. It looks much more expensive than it is. I have this in rotation to wear according to my mood with some other Moissanite rings I own. I try not to put on lotion or wash my hands much when wearing this ring since it isn’t a solid gold or titanium setting. But I also appreciate the less expensive materials since if this gets lost, I won’t be devastated over the loss or expense. My thoughts on Moissanite in general is this: I love it. I prefer the sparkle of Moissannite over diamonds, especially any diamonds I could ever afford. It reflects a larger rainbow spectrum and actually looks the way I always want diamonds to look. I also like that the stones are guilt free for me with no ethics issues of where and how they were mined like diamonds offer. They are much prettier than cubic zirconia, too, thanks to that rainbow effect. They are actually harder and more durable than CZ, too. Moissanite jewelry is just a win all around for me between appearance and cost. ... show more

I have several Moissanite & simulated diamond rings that I wear in place of my actual wedding set. I worry about losing my wedding ring or damaging it somehow as I've lost a diamond from it before. I try to save it for special occasions & wear the less expensive but still beautiful pieces for day to day. I ordered this ring in size 6, which is my usual size, & it fits like a 6. The center stone looks very much like a real diamond & the accent stones are realistic, as well. The entire setting of the ring is gorgeous. I love this ring. One issue I see is that due to the style of the setting, it will be difficult to stack another ring or rings with it & have them sit flush against each other. There will be a gap. The center stone does sit rather high up, so it likely will get bumped against things or snagged in blankets/clothing. If you are willing to deal with those issues, then you really can't go wrong with this ring. It's really just so pretty. ... show more
