This purse is sturdy, and for the most part suits my needs. I love the outside cell phone slit, and the outside zippered pouch is perfect for keys. I have a little purse compartment I slipped in the middle for tissue, notebook, pen,lipstick, calculator, etc. My only complaint is that the zippered pouch on the inside is too small. To me, it is the safest place to leave a wallet, because it's handy to leave the main zipper open when running errands, doing business. I make fabric purses, and I designed an inside pocket specifically for a wallet. I'm an amateur pursemaker, and I designed this wallet pouch, why can't professional pursemakers think of these important details? Purse was larger than I expected and not as soft as other Le Sak Purses. I was also thinking I purchased a black purse but instead got a blue one. I would not have bought it at the store but its ok.
