Peanutshell makes a great ensemble for baby bedding, and this set is no exception. The color and design are a soft apple blossom pink with lovely peach hues. It shifts depending on the lighting in the room-my first two photos are without flash (shows more peachy in subdued light), and the last one is with flash (brighter pink in well-lit conditions). In a bright nursery, it leans more pink; in softer lighting, it's beautifully peachy. Such a versatile, gentle shade! I absolutely love the design. It features a large floral pattern surrounded by a gingham frame, then a wider solid frame for a polished look. (Pink and beige are all the rage on Instagram right now.) The back of the comforter is gingham, matching the skirt-very cute and coordinated. The skirt covers the visible sides of the crib (not fully around the back, which is standard and practical). The fitted sheet is floral and incredibly silky soft-perfect for a baby's sensitive skin. Everything is all about comfort and is fully machine-washable, which is a huge plus for busy parents! This three-piece set (comforter, sheet, and dust ruffle/skirt) is a real winner for a baby crib or even a toddler bed transition. If you've tried making your own coordinating baby comforter or set, you'll appreciate how budget-friendly this is while still feeling high-quality. The prints are crisp and a complimentary color/pattern combo. The fitted sheet and blanket are both a decent fabric, obviously not a high thread count but not rough and scratchy either. The fitted sheet hasn't pilled with use. The colors are a little muted, what I thought was green is more olive/light brown leaning, which is nice for a natural color scheme. The blanket is just padded enough to be comfortable to lay on, but it isn't too big. Not big enough for laying on for floor time, better for a stroller or an extra layer on top of a swaddle.

I am glad this set leans more peach than pink. For 24 weeks we were sure it was a boy that was going to get the nursery.. turns out it’s a girl! We have had to scramble to either exchange everything or buy new. I’m not a pink and bow person but I love florals, plaid and gingham. That sweet but not too over the top element of femininity is perfectly captured in this set. You can see the top quilt is exactly crib size and not too big(and a risk for excessive fabric in the crib). The entire set is made with microfiber and I really like that because I can safely use Oxiclean/Clorox if need be and not damage the pattern of any part on this set. I was going to paint the walls grey but now I have a new palette to work from! I really like the topstitch concentric pattern on the edges of the quilt. It feels well made and breathable. My new favorite set is this one and I can’t wait to bring in new matching things I’ve seen from the peanutshell since they coordinate nursery themes on their site.

I was disappointed in the color. It was not what I was expecting. This is not a true pink; it has more of a peach tone. The sheet fits a standard 26 x 52 crib mattress well. The ruffle that goes under the mattress has three panels (two short end panels and one long side panel) So if you don't have the long edge of the crib sitting against the wall, this will not work for you, as one of the long edges of the crib does not have a ruffle. The fabric itself is soft with a smooth, almost silk-like feel. The blanket seems to be made pretty well. All and all, it's an average set, but I don't feel it is worth the price.

I got this as a gift for our new grand-niece. I took it out of the packaging to check it out before gifting it, and our cat immediately took to the quilt and shed black hair all over it. So now it's hers. It's become her favorite place to sleep, so I have to think the new baby would've liked it too. (This cat travels with us in her carrier...the quilt will nicely line the carrier for her comfort, lol.) The pattern is pretty, and the quilt is soft. Put all together it's a very attractive set. The fitted sheet and bedskirt was gifted and a new quilt to match will be arriving soon from a quilt crafter. It's important to make sure the sheet under the baby is tightly fitted to the mattress so baby doesn't get tangled up in the sheet. This sheet is the perfect crib size, nice and tight. I took off one star only because the material is polyester, a synthetic fiber as opposed to cotton. Very nice item!

The sheet is soft and fits my standard size crib mattress perfectly. The blanket is nice and matches the sheet but it will not be used as a blanket for quite awhile since my baby is still young and cannot use a blanket. I have mixed feelings about the skirt. I don't like it so much with my crib. Other than that it is easy to put on and good quality.
