Have you ever craved a REALLY GOOD piece of cake? I'm talking the type you'd actually drive out to the grocery store in the middle of the night in like 30ﾟweather to get. Then when you get to the store, you debate if you should question your sanity. I mean, if you buy an entire cake you are most likely going to be tempted to either eat it all at once, or eat the piece of cake, maybe two, and and throw the rest of it away or let it sit in the back of the refrigerator or on the counter getting stale since you indulged in your craving. This is why these ingenious, unbelievably delicious and satisfying cubes of cake belong in your kitchen cabinet, pantry or even bedroom closet. Trust me on this one. They are amazing! Don't judge them on their size alone, as these cubes of cake can work their Magic on your cravings. Most people devour these little gems in seconds, I manage to get 3 bites out of every cube. Then I let each bite just melt in my mouth, appreciating the intense flavor and complex texture. Every individual package of these unparalleled Cakebites is pretty much equal to a large slice of cake in taste. It is just enough to make you believe you ruined your Healthy eating plan, but you didn't. As long as you don't indulge in them every day. My rating will purely be on the flavor as the shipping experience was... something else The cake itself is decently moist/soft and has a strong almond flavor, kinda like extract or even a slight marzipan like taste, the chocolate isn't too sweet and is enjoyable. The jam doesn't really shine and you could have told me it had none and id believe you. Overall a pretty decent quick, sweet snack. Alas it came mostly melted and crushed due to amazons shipping practices but that's not the product makers fault.

I was so surprised by these because I’m originally from New York and always had Italian bakery 3 layer cookies which I loved. Since I moved away its hard to find these so I thought I’d give it a try. Wow was I surprised! They are moist and delicious. I recommend these although individually each is small but that’s better for watching calories. Enjoy if you decide to try them

The Classic Italian Rainbow Cakebites are my new favourite food. I've ordered them twice so far, and the second time I did, I had them opened and a cakebite was in my mouth before the delivery truck had even pulled out of the driveway. Maybe I sound like a real gluttonous pig, but it's true. These things are PHENOMENAL. First, here's some information copied from the packaging to help with your decision-making: INGREDIENTS: Enriched Wheat Flour, Sugar, Palm Oil, Eggs, Invert Sugar, Palm Kernel and Hydrogenated Palm Oil, Cocoa, Cocoa Processed with Alkali, Sorbitol, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Natural & Artificial Flavors (Contains Milk), Whey, Salt, Cassava Starch, Glycerol, Yellow 5, Yellow 6, Red 3, Red 40, Blue 1, Pectin, Citric Acid, Sorbitan Tristearate, Soy Lecithin, Sodium Propionate, Potassium Benzoate, Gum Arabic. CONTAINS: WHEAT, EGG, SOY & MILK. PROCESSED IN A PLANT THAT ALSO PROCESSES PEANUTS & TREE NUTS. Nutrition Facts: Serving Size 1 package (57g), Calories: 270, Total Fat 15g (Sat. Fat 10g, Trans Fat 0g), Cholesterol 25mg, Sodium 100mg, Total Carb. 32g (Total Sugars 21g), Protein 2g. I've ordered the "pack of 4", and then the second time, I got the "pack of 12". That means, 4 or 12 individually wrapped packages, and each of the packages contains 3 of the little square cakebites they show in the photos. (So, if you get a pack of 4, you get 12 cakebites total, and if you get a pack of 12, you will be getting 36 cakebites total, so on and so forth.) The most recent order I placed arrived July 18th, and the cakebites I received have a stamped best by date of Nov 20th, of the same year (to give you an idea of the shelf life.) I don't know much about Italian desserts, but I can tell you that as someone with a German heritage, these things are right up my alley. They taste more like a traditional German or Dutch food to me than anything else I've found on Amazon. Incredible strong almond-y, marzipan tasting cake, with a thin chocolate coating. The cakes I've received have been moist and fresh. Make sure if you order them in the summer and live in a hot area, to rescue your shipment from the outside heat right away when they arrive to prevent the chocolate and sprinkles from melting and deforming the cakes. (Don't worry- they still taste amazing if they're deformed or mashed.) Seriously, my new favourite dessert and snack food.
