I’m not sure if my kid just has big feet or if this is designed poorly in the heel, making it difficult to squeeze kid’s foot in. I’ve figured out how to maneuver his feet into this shoe, so it’s no longer an issue but it was very annoying at first. The quality is fantastic. Sturdy for proper foot posture and waterproof material on the outside. These boots keeps his feet warm throughout our brutal Michigan winters. My 18 months son has chubby feet. We couldn't get his feet into Bogs, but his feet easily went into these because of the straps. His feet are dry after playing in snow. He walks well with them on. Doesn't seem too heavy. He has not slipped wearing these, so they seem to have good traction.
