I've been thoroughly impressed with the Thermoball Traction. They live up to their promise of warmth and comfort, thanks to the excellent insulation. The fit is spot on, and the high-traction rubber out-sole is robust enough for quick outdoor trips, making them more versatile than your average slipper. I particularly appreciate the high backing that securely holds the foot, enhancing overall comfort. The only real unknown is long-term durability. I have bought both the bootie and shoe before in size 8 and they have been a perfect fit. This time I bought the shoe in size 8 and it was very tight around the foot. They have some type of fur material inside that seems to take up some of the space for the foot. That said, the North Face slippers are still the nicest looking, most comfortable and warmest slippers I've had. Great slippers, just go up one size!

These are warm, pretty grippy, with a soft but very well-built feel. I was looking for a pair of house shoes to keep my feet warm but not create a sweat chamber, and sifting through the huge number of low-quality house shoes out there was giving me a headache. These are not breathable per se, but they definitely don't seem to make my feet sweat nearly as much as they would if they had a faux fur or fuzzy interior. The top of the shoes have a synthetic puff-jacket feel (I'd love a pair of down-fill if they existed), and I feel confident that if I spilled some coffee on them that I could wipe it off and it wouldn't create a stain. There's a thin rubber sole on the bottom with good grip, and where the sole meets the upper there's a very sturdy feeling rubberized connector. You could definitely wear these shoes on short errands or to get the mail. The fit is true to size in my opinion. I have a 10.5 foot and the size 10 is just a little snug, but the heel stretches back a bit so it is a comfortable fit with zero looseness.

I have only had these she for a couple weeks so I really can’t speak about hiw durable they are, but I can speak of the construction base first impression. The shoe appears to with a solid sole and rubber rim around the sole that provide a sturdy construction. The shoe material is the same as a shell coat and seems to be well put together. A few complains that I have noticed in reviews is that the band around the ankle is too tight and whether the shoe is too insulated for warmer climates or not enough for cold climates. As stated by many reviews, I purchased a size up. I normally would purchase size 11 but purchased a size 12. The fit was perfect and the ankle band was also. The shoe I have been wearing it around the house a lot in warm or cold weather and it seems to provide comfort in both cases. The temperature recently went down in the mid-twenties and fir activities like taking the garbage out or quick runs to a store they jeep my feet warm. The shoes are advertised as a camping shoes for walking around the camp at night. I think that they would meet those needs well. But if someone was going to use them as winter shoes for cold weather, then I doubt that they would suffice. I am glad I bought these shoes and considering purchasing another pair since I like them so much. Update: I have had these shoes for two months and have wore them almost ever day. I have wore them to get groceries, work in the back yard rebuilding a gate, in wet weather, digging up roots and other times. I have got them sirty, muddy and wet. I have thrown them in the washing machine three times so far and each time they have came out looking brand new.

Saw these North Face slippers in public and asked the person wearing what their thoughts were. The person said, “buy them! You will not regret it”! I did just that and let me tell you that they are the best slippers or slip on’s I’ve ever owned. Very warm and comfortable. I wear them everywhere and get comments. The soles have been holding up great with outdoor use. You can also throw them in the washer and they stay relative clean and looking new. I want them in many colors now. They run true to size. I’m a size 13 and I bought another pair in the cano green size 11 for my Son who also wears his everywhere. If you are looking for a warm slipper that can hold up outside …. Just purchase these and you will not be disappointed!

One thing to note is that sizing runs a bit small, so I recommend sizing up for a comfortable fit. This small adjustment ensures you get the best experience out of the slippers. Overall, these slippers provide a snug and toasty experience. I give them four stars for great quality and warmth, with the only downside being the sizing.

The first night I had these I stepped in dog doo Ddo, I left them outside and forgot about them when a rainstorm came through. They were drenched when I found them in the morning . I put them next to the vent and in a few hours they were good as new. I wear them most days I'm off to go outside or if I don't feel like wearing real shoes. I enjoy the bright yellow orange color, they keep my feet warm and they feel very steady on icy ground. And they were on sale!
