My expectations for this site are so low that a fabric actually meeting the description is cause for celebration - this dress is real linen! It’s nicely stitched and hemmed. There were no loose threads or asymmetrical areas. The pockets are right on the hip at the side seams so not a flattering placement but they stay flat or can easily be sewn shut. The weight of the linen is just right - not too thick or thin. It’s a perfect two season fabric. It gets softer with each wash and only needs minimal touch up with an iron (or you can skip it if you aren’t fussy about things). In most situations, you will not need a slip. Dress it up or down, this the perfect linen shirt dress. I plan to order in every color. I’m 5’9” and this hits me right below the knees.

I own this dress/shirt in Small/white, and I find it to be too oversized and the fabric being true 100% linen. I washed it and did not shrink at all. Based on this experience, I ordered a black in XS this time. I tried it on the minute it arrived, and oh, boy, does it look stylish! I love the way it looks on me; however, I did find the fabric somewhat disappointing, and I’m just debating on whether to keep it or not because it doesn’t feel like 100% linen. The fabric has a shine to it, it’s scratchy, and it feels hot. At this price point , this garment is worth of a little meditation, contemplation , and deliberation before the return window expires. I’m also considering to reorder to see if I get a piece made from a different lot of fabric. If you are looking for a garment like this and don’t care how the fabric feels, then by all means go for it.

Super comfy dress with pockets. You will have to iron it before every wear as it will be wrinkly out of the wash. It does wrinkle easily when wearing as all linen clothing does. Just be aware lol. Worth the extra work though. I ordered it in 3 colors because it was so comfy. I also purchased a slip to wear under them because the lighter colors are a little shear.

Wanted it for paris travel…. It hung poorly Pockets poorly placed , dress slits too high when belted Tight ish across shoulders whereas the rest fit was reasonable I could tell from experience this was very cheap fabric because it was highly sized and when sizing would wash out( first wash -the dress would be a see through rag!!
