I ordered this vest in the cream color and it is a very nice quality! The fit is boxy. I would suggest ordering your normal size or size down. The color is warm and the arm holes are sized perfectly and don’t gap. Despite the higher quality, i think the value for this vest isn’t what i expected as it has a mass produced feel to it. I ordered a size L, and I'm 5'3" with a short torso, 38B, typically order a size L or 12 in tops. This vest is well made with a nice linen. I ordered the black and it reminds me of most black linen-- which is to say not super dark, but definitely still black. The fit of the vest is relaxed, it's not fitted. If you're looking for fitted, you may want to size down. I definitely had room in the waist with the large. That being said, it'll be a fun piece to work in with shorts, skirts and denim as more of a top than a vest. I wouldn't want to wear it over something other than a tank or fitted T, as I think i'd be adding volume and losing my waist, since the vest isn't snatched. ... show more

This is a cute vest. I was worried it might not look as cute in person as it does on the model, but I do like it! It does run a little bit big. I went with a M and probably could have gone with a S, but it isn't too big, just a bit wide on the sides near the arm holes. It is a bit low cut, so I'm trying to decide if I'll wear it as is or with a layer underneath. The buttons are functional so you can wear it either way.
