While it didn't work for me - it is a very nice top; more corporate wear than casual wear. I would recommend going UP a size. I got the XXL-Plus & thank goodness I did but even that was like a 2nd skin, it was so tight. The teal is a very nice color. I knew it had "cap sleeves" & I wanted to like it but I have bigger arms & I just couldn't make it look right. That's me, not the top. I'm not sure why it even has a zipper, the top just slides right over your head. I didn't have to unzip it at all. I did undo the clasp & zipped/unzipped the zipper to see if it hung up, no issues. IDK if I'd pay almost $40 for a top but if you have to go back into the office or work in an office, this would be a very elegant piece to add to your work wardrobe. With a pair of high-waisted pants (it IS a crop top style top) it would be very nice.

The fabric is thick and stretchy. The top runs small; definitely size up. The skirt runs large so consider a smaller size. Looks best with a light jacket. Not sure I would buy in a different color.

This top is gorgeous and well made. In general I love everything produced by The Drop. Sadly this top just does not work for me. I ordered one size up from my usual size, since I knew this was fitted. But boy that is an understatement! It is more like shapewear than just a stretchy top - I felt like I was stuffing myself into a sausage casing. I am quite large chested and this left NOTHING to the imagination, and not in a good way. I had hoped to wear this as a pop of color with black pants, but it is so cropped that it would show my belly. It is beautiful and well made, just not a good look for me.

I read the reviews and saw that this top ran small so I sized up to a medium from a small thinking it would fit me. I generally wear a size small and can get away with an extra small in tops depending on the brand. While this is a short crop top, the size medium fits VERY tight on me and feels almost like an x-x-small in size. The quality of this top is very nice, it has a zipper in the back at the neck along with a hook and eye closure. At the end of the day though, it's too tight for me to wear, even as a base layer so I would not order this again based on the sizing.

Negatives - the back zipper tends to stick, the arm holes are too large, the top is ill fitting and I did size up and it still fits like 2 sizes smaller.
