I ADORE the material and pattern on this dress! It is lightweight and comfortable and perfect for summer. I wear about a size 14 and ordered an XL since I’m pear shaped - I should have sized down to a L since it is too large on the top and has plenty of room in the hip area, but it was still perfect for date night with a little altering. Very happy with this dress. Only complaint would be that the upper band of the dress would flip over after a while and become visible, but that might just be because of the improper sizing on my part.

Silky and slinky poly made black satin dress. It’s smooth and lightweight. It does show some lumps so a shapewear is recommended. The elastic top is comfortable and thick which keeps the dress secure. However the hips are wider and if you have a smaller hips it may not work. This dress is perfect for hourglass figures rather than boyish. It’s easy to wash but ironing is a little tough since its doesn’t get the tough wrinkles out completely. It’s a decent dress which can be worn different ways by layering which is a plus.

Do you have a natural hourglass figure that you love to show off? Buy this dress! The fabric is beautiful and the hem is excellent. The top has a wide band that keeps the neckline in place comfortably. Do you not have as curvy of a shape? You'll likely find this dress doesn't flatter you as well as it does the models here. There is not much in the way of shape to this dress. There is a little bit, but there are only two seams, one on each side holding the fabric together. There are no added darts, pleats, or figure flattering aspects to the design to give this a shape of its own. If you have narrow hips, like I do, this will just hang on you like a sack dress. A very pretty sack, but still. Having said that, this could be an excellent base layer to work with for anyone who likes layers. This could work well with a jacket or cardigan layered over it to create a waist line. Even a dressy belt could give this some shape. I deducted one star from my review because I would have expected, at this price point, that there would be more workmanship and design to this dress, to allow it to flatter most shapes. Two princess seams or a few darts at the hips could have easily made this a vastly superior garment.

I love this dress, its soooooo cute!!! and amazing quality! I know the style is to be a straight look but I have a hour glass figure and doesnt flatter my waste all that much. May take it in a bit but so perfect for a wedding!

This dress is so good I could cry! I have body confidence issues and the fabric on this covers a lot of flaws. The fabric is very soft and is a perfect thickness. I think worth the price. The fit is going to vary per person of course but I am 5'9" and a size 10 and the medium is a perfect fit. I suffer from a muffin top situation with strapless tops so I usually say no to them, but this fits so well under my arms that I have no issues there. It also has to do with the elastic band that is soft and stretchy and stays put. It is not tight in the belly area on me, it just drapes pretty nicely overall without clinging. Basic shapewear shorts underneath is all I need to smooth things out. The construction all around with this dress is well done and on me it's very flattering and comfortable, I'm just so happy. It looks fantastic and is an elevated look. The wild purple is a poppin and it looks great and not cheesy. It's a bold color but it works with this. This dress on me looks great with either gold or silver jewelry. Since the shape is fairly simple it looks fun with some bolder shoes. I have some gold raffia bow strappy platforms that look so good with it. Nude color heels or any flats work too depending on how dressy you want to go. This was an awesome find.
