Love them. Have washed them hundreds of times at this point (late review) and they hold up. We have them in 5 colors and when he grows out we will get them in bigger size. I seriously think these are the best shorts we have ever gotten and due to our kiddos disability he needs pull on pants and shorts and these not only are easy to pull down and up, but they look so cute.

My son isn't largely fat, but he is a little on the chunky side. He has my thighs (thanks, Grandpa) and slim or even regular jeans are often too thin in the thigh for him. He HATES wearing husky pants, but that is where we are at the moment. These are nice and roomy on him and have an elastic (no adjustable waistband, which would still be nice even in this type of pant, but I am trying to fathom how that would work since I sew, and it would be convoluted) waistband. His thighs have plenty of breathing room. The length is good on him. He is almost 11 and average height.

The Kindergargen class required navy or khaki colored shorts. Even with an elastic waist, the shorts my grandson tried on hit the floor when he walked. He is a skinny little kid ! Smaller sizes were just too short thru the body. A salesperson at The Children’s Place told us that slim sizes were available online. They arrived in two days and fit his tiny waist, hips, and butt-less body perfectly. These are not the heavier canvas cargo shorts older boys might prefer but they are a long length and have all important pockets. The lighter weight is good for Georgia fall and spring school days. I initially ordered one trial pair and am now ordering four more.

My 12 year old loves these. He is very self conscious when shorts start to go above is knee. These are nice and long, going to his middle knee cap. He is 5 feet and about 90lbs and slim, so the pull tabs are a plus! He is also lazy about buttons and zippers so the pull on style is perfect!

Love theses shorts for my son he is on larger side and has thighs and a butt he is almost 9 and is in right at the end of a size 12 so i bought a 14 for him and though if they need to be adjusted they can be. He needs the size more for the leg room and these did the trick i will be grabbing up a couple more for summer.
