These are my go-to for jeans. I have two sons, and they’re HARD on clothes. I gave up on thrift shop jeans because they kill the knees within days. I have been purchasing these jeans for each child (see below) again and again in every size for about five years. I keep clothes from my eldest for my youngest, but my children are hard on jeans. That being said, my eldest was in the size sixes for a year and only at the end of that time were the knees getting “thin.” Like, if he wore them twice more they’d be garbage. Thankfully, I now have “garbage” jeans for mudding or painting or whatever for my younger son. I am so happy to replace them. I usually purchase 5-9 each year so they’re washed pretty much every other day (he has favorites when it comes to the wash of the Jean - dark or whatever). I will keep coming back. I docked for comfort because my eldest is a string bean. He is tall, very tall for an eight year old- but he’s also very lean (he’s ten pounds heavier than his three year old brother). I so love that you can change the elasticity. But all the “extra” elastic on each front side can be irritating and the extra bunched up fabric in the back is a complaint. These are minor, minor issues. This is an incredible value and I recommend these anytime other moms complain about the price of pants. They hold up. Even in the dirtiest and most trying conditions with hard-core kids and over 180 washes. The knees, of course, do get thin. They’re boys. It’s incredibly affordable and they look GOOD. My eldest refuses to wear even name brand jeans because he likes these more, so I’m buying more (I just bought “name brand” on Black Friday and they’ve been washed five times and worn four and the knees are obliterated. Just to give you an idea.) incredible quality for the cost! I am so happy to have found these and will continue to order as long as they are carried. Let’s hit a decade! (Or until they aren’t in the supported sizes? That will be a sad day!)

These are my 8 year olds favorite jeans. He has worn this brand for a few years and they do tend to wear out at the knees after a few months of wear. I bought him a different brand of better thicker jeans but he hatted how they fit and felt and wouldn't wear them. So we went back to these. They are thin material but more comfortable. I got him size 8 regular. He is 73lbs and 51in tall.

These are nice jeans, but all of the waists on kid's jeans are SO big these days! I bought a size 8 for my almost 9 year old son, they fit length wise but are super big in the waist. However, they DO have inner adjustable elastic, which is so great! Which I am so grateful for, because otherwise they are all bunched up with a belt like his Levis are. And these are a much more reasonable price that most jeans.

When my son was younger we preferred Carters brand clothing, but now that he's older, I haven't really been a fan of the big boys (beyond toddler size) clothing that they make. The Children's Place clothing are similar to Carters brand in that they run bigger than other brands, and I love that pretty much all of their clothes come with an adjustable waist band and snap closure up through size 7. Despite the fact that the dye is a dark one on these jeans, they did not run as much as I thought they would. I DID use color catchers for the first wash btw, but they didn't catch much dye, so that was a relief. These fit well and my very thin son can easily wear these jeans with the adjustable waistband. These look great and fit well.

Order these late July for back to school. My some started school September 8th. He came home today with a giant tear in the crotch of his pants. Pulled apart right at the seams. I only have him on the weekends and Thursdays. He's hardly worn these and their construction doesn't seem very good. He says they feel comfy, but I can't see spending 15 dollars and jeans that hardly past.

These jeans look and feel like my own adult Levi jeans -- got them for my 12-year old son. They immediately became his favorite pants, because they do not look like "little boy" pants. Fit was exactly what we expected. These are a great, affordable option for fast-growing boys. These are the only jeans I get for my little guy, and they are perfect. He’s 6, and he has always been really rough on his clothes. These withstand a rough and tumble little boy, and they continue to hold up well despite being washed so much from his outdoor play. I love the adjustable waistband because it ensures he can wear them for a long time, and I love the affordable price. They also run true to size. If you don’t know what size to get for some reason just buy whatever size you would at any other store and you will be fine.
